Flying into Boise is a piece of cake. Getting from our gate to baggage claim was just as easy. The car rental counters are near by as are the actual vehicles and getting your car is quick and easy. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is returning the vehicle is not as easy. Exits from the freeway are marked but once you get off the freeway there are few well marked directions leading you to rental return as at many airports. The signs that are there are on the smallish size and the route is not particularly intuitive. Once you get to the lot Enterprise speeds you through in their normal efficient fashion. Our car was great, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient and we were on our way in no time at all.

I have now rented a car from the Boise Airport Enterprise on two occasions and both times I have had a fantastic experience. All of the staff I have interacted with has been very friendly and helpful and the process of getting the car and returning it has been quick and easy. I would recommend Enterprise without hesitation to anyone renting a car in Boise.

AIRPORT LOCATION
Enterprise is my go-to place for car rentals. I am the type of person that likes to rent cars for any road travel as opposed to putting the miles on my car. When you're a member of their rewards program you get coupons for free upgrades and you earn points that you can put toward free car rentals. I can usually get a car for less than $15 a day. Sometimes I get lucky and get a truck or SUV for that price when you click the "we pick you pay" option.
The airport is especially convenient because they're open rather late and super early. 6am-12am. You can do a 24-hour drop-off. They don't worry about you cleaning it, they'll gladly clean it for you. The staff is always friendly here. There is no hassles and usually no wait.
Some important notes--
*You may have to provide a flight itinerary if you're from out of town.
**You will have to walk to the cars. It's about a 4 minute walk, but if you have a hard time walking, I want you to know this.
***Parking costs-- each day you leave your car it costs. If you can get dropped off at the last door in the arrivals port downstairs.
****You're full coverage on your car covers you. They try and make money off of you for $44 a day on insurance, but really you are already covered. Unless you like double coverage there is no point. If you only have liability then you must take this insurance to protect yourself.
*****You can opt-in to pay for fuel in advance at a lower rate-- I don't do this because I usually only have to fill up 1/4 of a tank or so and not returning a car on empty.
Have a great day! I am writing this review as I watch the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC. I am thankful for my YELP family and friends!

Excellent right from the start, all my info was correct and both gentlemen were friendly and professional. I
did have a short wait prior to getting to the counter due to an excessive and rude customer making his demands. For my wait, they gave me a 2018 Infiniti Q50 Sport to drive....sweet. Drop off was quick and painless. Kudos to the Boise Airport Enterprise crew...rock stars all!

The agent was not necessarily rude, but by far the agent with the least customer service skills I have EVER run into with Enterprise.
I get that only certain cars can make 1-way trips. I get that sometimes you don't get the car you want. But to give someone a car that borderline too small for them, the exact model they just told you they hate (my exact words were, "please just don't give me a Kia Soul or a Cube. Stupid looking cars."), and then tell me the wrong parking space. I won't even go into the lie that pickup trucks are "not allowed to make 1-way trips."
All that being about the in-person agent at the airport, I will now move on the system as a whole. My new employer reserved me a rental car to drive from Boise to Denver. There needs to be a way for the reservation to be moved from one enterprise to another. The West Boise office was literally around the corner from me, but no, I had to pay a $25 taxi to get to the airport simply because then only way to switch the reservation was to have the #4 trucking company in the world cancel the reservation and submit it to a different location. No matter that I am standing in the other location 2 days early or that they have plenty of availability. This needs to be fixed.
Now we are at the end of the review. And this is for anyone reading this trying to decide whether to use Enterprise or someone else. None of what I mentioned above will ever make me use someone other than Enterprise. In Enterprise's worst day, they are still better than EVERY OTHER RENTAL CAR COMPANY. I would recommend this company above all others because while this one time some stuff went wrong/I was treated badly, but I have a dozen outstanding service times to erase this one. Examples to include agents bending over backwards to help me move stuff from one car to another, getting free upgrades, to you name it.
To the company, I will change the star rating the next time I use you guys and I get the service I am used to.
Thank you to everyone who actually took the time to read all this.
