National Car Rental

I travel frequently and always rent from National. However, my experience in Boise in April 2017 was so awful that I'll use a different service next time I'm there. The car was old, dirty and rickety. For the prices I pay for National vehicles, I expect new cars with modern features. Instead it was Rent a Wreck level. Stay away, even if you're a loyal National customer like me!

Our company has used National Car Rental for many many years and I just wanted to say thanks to Bryce Stalling at the Boise Airport agency for staying late to help one of our colleagues who was traveling in from Mexico and whose flight was delayed. Bryce stayed well past midnight to be sure our employee received his car. After many hours of travel and being exhausted, our employee was so relieved to have someone wait for him to get him on his way so that he could get to the hotel and rest before having to come to work the next day bright and early. I am a Executive Elite Member of National Car Rental and in a Corp. contract with National and rent around 180-200 days in a year. I would say this is the worst location through the country. I don't blame on executives they have their hands tied up by the franchise management which has the worst policies and keep their own policies above Nationals. Never get treated well at this location. Worst cars worst location.

Worst experience yet. I travel often to Boise for business . The cars are rarely updated and bland, and service is always understaffed. I waited over an hour just to switch a car during the weekday. Furthermore, this location has no emerald Aisle. I will be using a different rental car vendor when I visit Boise once more. Recommendations - stop sticking with one brand of cars, have a variety. Also, have more staff in the line so I do not have to wait over an hour for service.

Good rates but TERRIBLE vehicles. Their "Premium Full-size Sedan" is a Chevy Impala that doesn't have a backup camera... Really?
