Enterprise Rent-A-Car

When we found ourselves in Virginia Beach needing car repairs, someone suggested we use Enterprise. We called the General Booth Blvd location which was closest to us and received friendly, easy service from our first phone call to the car return. Royal picked us up and did all of the paperwork for the rental. Very efficient and easy. When we were able to get our own car back earlier than we thought, there was no problem with an early return and price adjustment. We would recommend this company and location.

They pick me up and drop me back off when I return the car. They always have my car waiting when I get there. The staff at the General Booth store is great, very easy to work with.

This place great. Walk in was help on what i needed. They didn't have what i want but took the time got what i needed and got me out and on my way. After I return the car they even took me back since i didn't have a ride back to base. I was going to get a uber but they say we got you. Keep up the good work there.

So it seems they may have an inventory problem as others have stated. I've used them a couple of times and enjoyed the service although I find them more expensive then others I'm willing to pay because of the service and convenient location to my home. I made a reservation with the reservation line, who didn't know they had a drop box, so I informed him that they did as I had seen it on my previous rental experiences there. We discussed the kind of outlandish rate I was quoted - 3 days instead of 2 because they were closed on Sunday which was $200 +, I expressed my concern at the rate and the reservationist said they had a weekend special that was more reasonable and in line with other car rental companies so we booked it and he transferred me to the office for pick up. Once transferred to the office things went down hill from there. I was informed they didn't have any economy cars that are the weekend rate special all they had was something much more expensive than what I thought was expensive already! I'm not sure what their inventory was, but it's been my business experience that if I had unused inventory (20 cars etc) that were not going to be rented that day and had an opportunity to sell one (even at a lesser rate) well, I definitely would - that would make sense. But instead of taking the opportunity to make the customer warm and fuzzy and an advocate of the company - they just said sorry we don't have any cars at the weekend rate. They didn't even acknowledge that I had frequently used their services. They did recommend I call around to other Enterprise locations, but I called a less expensive company and received the service I was looking for.
