Frisco Woods Campgrounds Inc

My family and I stayed here the first week in April. The campground is in a nice area and was convenient to the ferry, lighthouse, and beach. The location is pretty and they were actively working on laying sod and some remodeling. I appreciate that we visited off season but it would have been nice to know the following when making reservations: Sound front road was washed out or as stated at check in “a little sketchy “. This made getting in and out less convenient. WiFi was non existent throughout the campground, never did get a signal. The bathhouse closest to our site was closed for remodeling. Left us with 2 small kids and a hike to a bathroom. Playground consists of 1 swing and a platform. No security here at all. We had kite surfers setting up shop on the vacant sites around us daily. Had no issues with these folks but was apparent anyone could come and go as they pleased. The sites and roads are very tight. Wasn’t a huge deal on our visit but I wouldn’t want to be here during peak times. Had only one road in and out of the sound front sites which was partially blocked by a local RV set up service waiting for our site 2+ hours before checkout. They did keep the one bathhouse clean during our stay and were working on upkeep throughout the week so hopefully it’ll be better for the next group. My family and I will be looking for other campgrounds when we return.

Great campground and friendly staff. We visited in late April 2018 and had great weather. The campground was maybe half full at the time we were there. They're adding many improvements to the facility including re-sodding the areas around the canal. We stayed at one of the sites near the water. It can get pretty windy there as you are exposed to all the wind coming off the sound. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great people, wonderful campground. Owners truely care about your camping experience! They are constantly working on maintenance items and continue to perform upgrades to facilities and amenities! We camp several times a year and this is one of our favorite trips!

The sunsets here are absolutely stunning. Nice campground. Well maintained. Had water, sewer, electric and cable at our site. Cell service (Verizon) was 2-3 bars. Worked well. They offer tons of amenities. We appreciated friendly service and a well-stocked store for necessities. Camp sires 29 & 30 can get soggy if water level is unusually high but staff graciously allowed us to change sites. Waterfront camp sites were a true treat! Great views. We will return and recommend to others.
