The campground was as maintained as would be expected, and had a good atmosphere with the other campers and residents. People that were staying there were extremely friendly, and we didn't have any issues with any other guests being inconsiderate to others around them. I read some previous reviews that talk about the roads not being maintained as well as some would expect, and I did see that in certain areas. But the roads were better than I've seen at a lot of other RV parks. The stay would have been near perfect had it not been the issues that we felt with the staff. The younger woman who worked in the store was extremely friendly, and the following statements don't apply to her. The rest of the staff acted almost as if we were annoying them anytime we had a question or asked for assistance in any way. Long story short they were not very accommodating when it came to us as customers, when trying to be with family staying with us. Just not how we would expect staff to treat a customer. It just was a disappointment. Again, we loved the campground and atmosphere most people created there, but from looking at reviews online it's clear we aren't the only ones who have recently felt mistreated by staff. It wasn't so terrible that we will never visit again, but hopefully the next visit will just be better when it comes to interaction with the staff.

Somewhat difficult to communicate with the organization. They failed to let us know that our registration materials would be in the big black mailbox outside the locked gate. The telephone connection to the office is useless and disconnected us twice. We were rescued by one of the local staff and taken directly to the campsite. The grounds are okay but the trash dumpsters were all full past their capacity to close and created an objectionable sight and stench. Hookup was fine. Site was level and shaded. Fair value for the expense.

Have visited this campground since I was a child. The past few years have been a struggle to convince myself to keep coming back. The roads are not maintained ... ( holes so deep In the road that when it rains, creates extra fishing holes) and that is just a start. The lack of maintenance in general is a huge concern. The store has very limited hours and planned activities decrease every year.

Definitely need to upgrade their computer system. Having a reservation confirmation code, proof of credit card charge and they are still challenged on locating the corresponding information. Too many promises of call back to discuss overcharge was most frustrating. Would not recommend this campground as the spots were way too crowded and close together, sewer gases emanating sewer gas next to the campsite was also troublesome

Our site was trees; we had to park 1/2 in the site next to us. The electric works. Took a few minutes to find the water hook up; it's in the ground covered with pine needles. The sewer was too far to reach. The road to our site had deep, huge potholes and a collapsed pipe. The site was apparently flooded recently. Normal rate: $64 per night. We paid half that with passport America and still thought we over paid. There is dog poop everywhere and a decomposing deer carcass on a walking path. A neighbor was blasting his radio at full volume so another neighbor started his open frame generator in retaliation. I don't think I will ever come back. This is the worst park we have stayed in in more than a year and we full time.
