Oregon Inlet Campground

This place is a great little campsite. If you are camping to get away from people, don't go here. If you are camping to get closer to the beach and looking for an easy way to be out in nature, this is it! I was blown away by the bathroom facilities, there 3 different ones and each had a filtered water fountain to fill up your bottles and the restrooms/showers were perfectly clean! It's a tight fit between spots, which is a first come first sign up basis. So you'll be able to easily see and say hi to your neighbors and the 4 other spots near you. But honestly, this place was amazing and I wish I was able to spend more than one night here. Each spot (for tents at least) has a charcoal grill, picnic table (which seemed new, the wood didn't poke you!), and paved space for your car. Easy walk across a couple dunes to the beach, which was practically secluded. Also saw a pod of dolphins. Loved this beach and campsite.

Great camping on Cape Hatteras National Seashore. They now have some sites with electric hook up and water. It's about a 5 min walk to the dunes to the beach. Very in crowded compared to other beaches. Good for surfing and fishing. Dump station and fresh water supply is across the road from the campground at the marina.

We originally booked at a private "campground" and our spot was sandwiched between two RVs and very small. We were happy to find this spacious tent friendly campground. Helpful staff. Short walk through the dunes to the beach.

Not bad at all. Not many amenities and nowhere close to buy beer excpet for the marina, so plan ahead. Check before you have beach fires. Really close to the ocean. Watch out for copperhead snakes.

Cool setting w great little paths thru dunes directly to secluded beach. Wind can be very strong so be prepared w long stakes and guy wires or sleep in vehicle. Bathrooms and shower stalls separate. No hot water so wipes come in handy.
