New Bern KOA Holiday

I will absolutely be back. We stayed in a cabin and the set up is perfect for a family with children (you're able to see the jump pad, park, etc right from the cabin). Pat and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make you feel right at home and welcome. The bathrooms and showers are easily accessible and very clean. Our family can't wait to come back.

It's a nice campground but they are way too expensive. I get that they have to make most of their money in a few months but they are charging rates like the Hatteras KOA without being on the ocean like Hatteras. Don't let that detract from staying here because it really is a nice place but I just hope management sees this and makes some changes. I stay at KOAs all over, sometimes a few times a month and have been for a few years now and this one had much higher rates than I feel it should. New Bern is lovely and the KOA network is the best. I just think they know they'll get away with it and it's not right.

This was our first camping experience in our newly remodeled camper. We are inexperienced with some of the systems and encountered some issues with our older rig. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and made sure we had the information we needed to make our repairs at the park so we did not have to leave early. The on site store was well stocked with multiple items for camping mishaps and the staff was as accommodating as I have ever encountered. The grounds are well maintained, very nice bathhouses, on site laundry, pool, spectacular views of the Neuse River. We came here for our first trip as a trial run, because it is close to home and in case we encountered a problem we could not fix we could get home quickly, but we enjoyed it so much, we will be back! Thank you to the staff at KOA Holiday for helping out a family of newbies!

This is our first visit to New Bern KOA. We will definitely be back!! All of the KOA staff are so friendly. Our campsite is beautiful! The campground is very well kept. I have to rate this campground as one of my favorites.

Enjoyed my time at the New Been KIA. This was my first time staying at a LOT campsite. Was there with my son and his cub scout pack as a pack trip. We all had an a great time. The boys were able to enjoy the jump pad, and We were all able to enjoy the giant checker and chess boards. The check in was extremely informative and very painless. Will gladly go again.
