I hate Mediacom. With a huge passion. I can't even talk about how much I hate them because of their shady practices. If you get the lowest internet-only package you can count on overages that don't make sense. You go up a step and all the sudden the overages disappear and you're no longer using as much internet when you're just going "Ha! let the downloading happen all you want now." Isn't that funny? How do I go from exceeding my usage by 50-100 GB a month to not even hitting that same number or barely exceeding it every now and again and I am downloading 50 GB games now? Then, you can expect that you're going to just get nailed with high prices because they're the only one in town. Why isn't this place called a monopoly yet? 80 dollars a month for their second-to-lowest internet package if you're a CURRENT customer. If you're a new customer it's 50 dollars a month. If you use their modem it's another 10 dollars a month. Tack on taxes and fees. Read the fine print and you'll see that they say they can just raise prices on you, so you're in a contract, but it doesn't bind them -- it binds you. Have you ever seen the episode on South Park where they call the cable company? Perhaps you should just YouTube it and you'll understand exactly what it's like to deal with Mediacom. Google Overlords hear my plea and come to Albany.

I never get what I pay for wish there were another company for Internet service here
