Made an appointment for an oil change online, got a appointment email confirmation, and my car was in the bay right on time. While performing their standard safety inspection,  found a potentially dangerous condition with my brakes. They made a point in explaining the pros and cons of repair thoroughly and without pressure. After giving my approval for repair, my car was repaired in 60 minutes. Great prices, great work, warranty, and a great crew. I've been with this store for years and they've never disappointed me. As a penny pincher, I enjoy the quarterly discounts they send out to their Rewards members.

Hands down the best pep boys in all of Decatur, Athens, and Huntsville. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and they provide you with the understanding to make decisions about your car.

Don't go here they will ruin your car!!!

I went in for an oil change and they accidentally drained the transmission fluid. 
They didn't admit to it they waited for me to get into the car and realize the transmission wouldn't work. 
When I told him about the problem they acted like they didn't know anything and nothing was wrong. After complaining a second time Bryan the manager agreed to do a free transmission flush as a courtesy. 
Later he called me back to tell me that the transmission flush was successful in my vehicle was now working. Unfortunately in the process of the transmission flush he accidentally drained all my differential fluid and had to replace it. 
After they had a resolve their incompetent work and I picked up the vehicle they refused to add any of this information to the pep boys report. 
Instead it was hand written. 
Upon calling Pep Boys corporate to complain I was on hold for 10 minutes and had to leave a voice message
