Sears Appliance Repair

Like the previous review, I would also give them a zero if I could. I had a scheduled appointment window between 1 and 5 but by 4:30pm no call and no service so I contacted the service department through their chat box. When I inquired about my appointment they indicated, and I quote "I see there is no technician assigned to your service order yet. The routing team was hoping to send the technician as per the appointment schedule." In other words they could not find anyone to do the work but did not bother to tell me!! Bad enough to schedule someone when you don't have the manpower to meet the schedule but not to let the person know adds insult to injury. My advice to everyone, find someone else, you could not do worse!

I would give no stars if I could. I had a appointment time for a dryer repair between 1-5. I even called to verify they were still coming a 330. At 430 I got a call from a technician in another state that said he was the one who was scheduled come out and he was 7 hours from me, and there must be a mistake. Apparently, Sears did not contact the right area to service me. They only said they could come out in two days and offered me nothing to compensate. I have never had anything like this happen, I would Never use Sears for anything again.

There were plenty of available appointment times that fit my schedule. The Repairman was on schedule and arrived as expected. The repair was a reasonable price, and the appliance is working again.

New review of the technician who came to see our 2010 refrigerator, 5 stars: We had an issue with the water filtration system, which the technician was able to resolve almost immediately. Knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. Older review, 4 stars: We had a check-up done on our 10-year-old washer and dryer. The technician who came out was pleasant to work with. He did a good job checking our appliances, but he left a messy laundry room, with dust that needed to be cleaned afterwards. He had a vacuum cleaner so he could have done that clean-up himself. Otherwise, we were happy with the service.

The repair guy was on time, called before he came, cleaned everything up before he left and asked if we had any other concerns. Very professional
