Sears Appliance Repair

I gave it a 3 start simply because the technician lied to us about his arrival time. He called at 7:30 in the morning and said he was on his way. He did not show up until nearly 3 in the afternoon.

Aside from repairman not being allowed to carry replacement part on his truck and needing to return to complete job, everything has seemed to work out. There were additional drips after he left but within a week they has cleared and everything seems fine. Nice Job Danny.

I had Sears here two days ago to fix my dryer. The cost was $198.90. Today, my dryer still will not heat. I called Sears repair and I have to wait another three weeks for another repairman. Last Sears appliance I buy. Update -- today 01/15/18 I had the second technician come to my home. He didnt have the correct part. So he ordered the part, I paid another $13.99 and have to wait another two weeks for him to come back and replace the part. So, it will be about 7 weeks without a dryer. I would have used my $200+ towards a new dryer and could have been using it long before this one will be fixed.

Refrigerator was fixed with main board replacement after it shut down for a month. I lost all my food thawed in freezer and yet I was not helped at all with $300 lost food reward which was covered in my 3 year Sears Protection.

Scheduling an appointment was very easy. I love the chat feature they have! The Sears Technician that came out to my home was polite, professional, and efficient with time. He did a great job and was very informative. Purchasing a warranty on my washer was well worth it. I will continue to give my business to Sears.
