The Property Management Firm

My boyfriend used this firm to rent a house that he recently moved out of last month. He had nothing but problems from the firm, I went with him to view the house prior to moving in or signing the lease and the carpet was filthy and the house had not been cleaned whatsoever. He asked if they could have the carpet replaced before he moved in and the house be cleaned and painted. Over the period of two weeks before his move in day he contacted them multiple times in regards of the carpet being replaced and the house being cleaned which he was then informed it had been done and taken care of. In comes his move in day and guess what? Still same stained dirty carpet and unpainted walls and still not cleaned so we had to clean before we could even move furniture. Over the course of a year he had multiple issues with that company including when they did FINALLY replace the carpet. It took a month after he moved in and he was told a crew would come replace the upstairs carpet so he he took that day off and they sent someone for measurements that took not even 20 minutes and was told they’ll be back the next day for installation. So he then had to take the next day off just for them to send one person to replace JUST the bedroom carpet and not all carpet as we were told which that one room alone took a full 8 hours. The drain was clogged from the day he moved in and they took 9 months to have someone come in to unclog it and then told he that HE had to pay $90 to fix it which was ridiculous since it had already been that way for that long. The one decent thing they did was meet him half way and said they would pay half and he would pay the other half. Fast forward to him moving out so we can live together, it’s now been little over a month since he moved out and he received what was supposed to be the security deposit back but instead he got a bill for almost $300 for normal wear and tear but then we look at the paper and it includes carpet cleaning (which wasn’t even done for us to move in even after we asked), repainting the walls (which also wasn’t done for him nor was there any damage on the walls) as well as a few other things that are not and should not be his responsibility. Not only did they wait until the exact day 30 to send this to him but they are screening his calls and have not emailed him back after his attempts at contacting them. We both looked over his previous lease with the. and nowhere on it does it state that repainting is the tenants responsibility. This didn’t even happen to me personally and I’ve still never been this frustrated. What I’ve listed are just things he has told me about and what I’ve witnessed d I’m sure there is plenty more. I don’t feel that $800 should be charged to him for something they do anytime someone moves out and before a new tenant moved in which is also listed on the lease that this is done prior to someone moving in so why is it at his expense? They even called him a couple weeks after he moved to get the mailbox number for the house because someone was moving in already and they didn’t have the number. They are THAT unorganized. That’s something they should know before they go and rent the house out to another tenant. I wish whoever just moved in the luck because you’ll need it.

Stay away from The Property management Firm.. Find anyone else even a stranger would do a better job....Worst company I ever dealt with. Communication is a total joke...Try calling them for an answer and you will get a different one from a different person each and every time....They were my property management company and were told not to allow pets... They told tenant owner doesn't know because he lives out of town so they allowed a pet.. What a Joke... property management company telling owner what to do with their own property... Broken pipe took four days to get water shut off...poor tenant and person living below..simple fix they made turn out to an insurance claim....when asked why they did not go in to shut off water I was told Mr Rowan does not believe in keeping a spare key because he does not believe in going in property without owner present... We are talking emergency here.. Call Fire Department.. I could type on and on.I have new management company all issues resolved within 3 days.. no problems whatsoever now. Keep away from this non-professional wanna be management company...They changed their name from Rowan to The Property Management Firm....They should have changed it to The I don't Care or Know anything Management Firm.. Keep far away...

I have been in my present apartment for nearly 3 years and I have rent a total of 5 properties from Bill Rowan over the past 16 years and to be honest I have always had great experiences doing business with Mr Rowan. I have never had any problems getting anything fixed in a reasonable time frame and Bill Rowan and the team at the Property Management Find has always treated me with respect. Robin is an honest lady who has assisted me on a couple of occasions, Sadonya is awesome, Nick is a great agent who assisted me in getting two of the properties I have rented and the entire team has been good to me and my family, my brother was also a tenant in the past. I give them a rating of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because they have always been great to me. Truly, Jonnie Curry

Don't rent from this sorry management property . Never not once did they fix anything on the property i rented . They are keeping my deposit and Robin made the mistake that only cost me money and never had time be professional and speak to me in person . Do your job right. Do your inspection when you manage a property. I will contact the news channels and the better business bureau. Bad for business i will picked sigh your business as well

EVERYBODY WAS NICE TO ME,I never had no problems,I stay with them almost 4 years,nice company,I have give them 5 stars good job
