Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles

I needed to get a vehicle inspected, the 1st day we got there about noon and was told they are booked for the day. Everyone was very rude. We went the next day right at 8am and had to wait 3 hours, again pretty rude. Had to go back 2 days later to and get a new title and registration and everyone was so nice (3rd time is a charm). I originally gave 1 star and now changing it to 3 beacuse of the 3rd visit.

What a joke!! After waiting 3 hours the guy deleted our info. Nobody knew what to do. There are no chairs to sit on anymore. After standing for 3 hours I was about ready to sit on the floor. Stupid, ridiculous bunch of bozos who don't have a clue what they are doing. Any of these 5 star reviews had to be written by employees with a gun held to their head

This only concerns the vehicle level 2 and 3 inspections: I arrived at 1030. Signed in. An announcement that it would be a 5 hour wait for person x, y, z....etc. Many people left. It's now 3:00pm and I'm the only one that stayed here the whole time, and have not been helped. Several people left for 4 or so hours, we're not present when their name was called, and came back. They were still served ahead of me. This is happening although the rules are that you lose your spot if you're not present when called. Nobody is being rude, I'm just the only person that followed the rules today and it bit me in the rear. My advice: sign and leave for several hours, then flag someone down when you come back and skip those who waited all those hours that you were out.

Got there at 9:50am to renew my CDL, got done around 2pm😕 about 4hrs for 15 -20mins of processing paperwork. Sadly under staffed in the CDL dept. However Alex that processed my paperwork was real cool😉😎 Thanks.. Ticket number 53 the real one! Not that fake that kid had...🤔

I registered and switched titles to my car and motorcycle in less than 30 minutes. It's been 5 hours and counting waiting transferring my CDL from Utah to Arizona. They have only one computer set up to handle paperwork. It's a rediculous setup. The CDL people are very nice and trying their best, but their own system has multiple bottle necks. But since you only have 2 choices for cdl stuff in Phoenix, it's still light years ahead of the facility in Goodyear. Just be prepared for a possible long wait. But again they are very nice, at least.
