In general I have a lot of empathy for people that have to work with the public especially the under less than perfect circumstances. So the fact that I got diverted to the wrong window without an application when I could have taken care of things at the kiosk was unfortunate. The fact that I had to stand in line for 40 minutes was unfortunate.  It was made worse by the woman at the counter telling me "I'm sorry, I not perfect". When I pointed out her mistake since I was six feet away from her in line at the kiosk and she had no one waiting in her line. The general information line

None of us are, but a simple I'm sorry and a smile would have been fine.  At one of my first jobs at Wendy's I learned, the customer is always right. When you make a mistake you apologize and smile and try to correct the problem if possible.  

We all make mistakes but if we don't know we make them we continue to make the same ones over again. 

So I get to the kiosk where I'm single finger punching away my information when another woman comes up and says what are you doing? I explained "I'm reinstating my license" she says you're in the wrong screen.  And starts punching buttons. Whoa! I exclaimed I'm pretty good at following directions and the screen said license reinstatement and that's what I was doing.  Now she has deleted everything and she says "let me do it I'm faster". She goes back to the exact same screen I was in then she proceeded to type in my middle name in the first name slot and I said excuse me that's my middle name so she erases it and then says "are you happy now" and I said "No! I'm not happy you people are bunch of smart-asses, I don't need this" so I took my license and left.  

Hopefully I do not get arrested and taken to jail. The moral of this story is you can do almost anything online that you can do at the DMV and you don't have to put up with that.

Not sure why this DMV location took away the seating area and now have folks standing & waiting in LONG lines instead!    If it is to encourage people to go online to take care of their DMV needs, it is a big FAIL!!  

I'm also not sure why the service person I got could not stay on task with the title issue that I was there to have handled.   She was interrupted by at least three other service people who didn't seem to know what they were doing.   At one point, she got up and left for 30 minutes!!  Meanwhile, I had already stood in two lines and had waited to get to her for an hour.   Long story short the re-titling of my vehicle took a total of five hours!!

Not that there needs to be, but there is no sense of urgency on behalf of folks behind the counter.  So frustrating to watch and be treated this way!   I'm in the customer service business and I know that I could NEVER get away with that sort of behavior and lack of courtesy...EVER.

How can this be fixed??      So annoyed, because I don't think that there is a way to avoid this place if any vehicle transaction cannot be done online.

Guy, who works the testing center, Really did me a solid and helped me in obtaining my Arizona license when I lost my out of state license (after providing the proper paperwork and all) now that I live here full time. He really went above and beyond.

I had to go to this DMV two days in a row ( had two different issues ). When I arrived at their busiest hour, their was a long line. Despite that, I was in and out within ten minutes!  Staff was quick, professional and friendly. 

When I returned the next day, it wasn’t nearly as busy. This time there was more paperwork involved, but I was still in and out in less than twenty minutes. Again, the staff was quick, professional and friendly. Thank you!

I moved back to AZ from HI. I went to the MVD when they opened on a Wednesday morning to get my drivers license and plates. From the time I entered to the time I left was only 25 minutes. Great job MVD!!!
