Avis Car Rental

I've rented hundreds of rental cars and this was the worst car rental experience ever!! To start the rental agent was 20 minutes late getting to work and after booking online and using a major credit card the agent demand I present proof of full collision insurance which I did not have on me and have never been asked for EVER. So basically I was forced to add 40$ worth of insurance coverage that I didn't need because my credit card AND my private insurance BOTH cover the rental car AND it was optional insurance I had the right to waive. When I returned the car I asked the agent to tell me where I can download the terms and conditions that require proof of insurance at pick up and she could not tell me and then went into some long spill about how they're a franchise and they're the only ones anywhere that ask for it. Just ridiculous. Once I got into the car I noticed right off that the gas hand was at only at half a tank but my paperwork showed it was on FULL . So then I had to go back inside just to find the attendant on breakfast break after only being on the job 10 minutes. Once he returned he told me he would credit the gas back. But still waste of time. But worst of all the windshield on the inside was covered with some kind of wax or film that took 45 minutes and 10$ in cleaning supplies to remove. Needless to say I will NEVER use another AVIS and advise anyone reading this to look elsewhere. Good luck and safe travels. R

They're are friendly and I'm always in and out quickly. They also let you park your car there for free with a rental.

If you don't have a credit card, you can't rent a car. No amount of money is enough.
