Budget Car Rental

Had an awe full experience with a employee named Chris. He gave us false information for different questions that cost us three times the original price we planned to pay. Went back the following day to resolve the problem and spoke to an older woman who was more than helpful. She basically had to return our car and re book us so we would have the rate we planned on paying. Basically don't deal with chris and you'll be fine.

Highly disappointing experience. Be forewarned... we reserved a minivan at this location at least a month in advance. We even called the location 2 days prior to change the pick up time and confirm. Received a telephone call the morning of pick up ( 2 hrs prior to scheduled time) to inform us that they do NOT have a van for us and that they have checked all locations in their "fleet" to no avail. We had to then drive down to Richmond airport on our own (2 hrs round trip) to pick up a van. And now we are told it must be returned to the Richmond location or else we have to pay a $75+ fee. Horrible service and unacceptable in every way. Have never dealt with such a last minute disappointment and frustration on behalf a business like this. Will never use Budget again.

Pick a different store. Did a long term rental here and tried to pick it up an hour early. Becaise it was a long term rental, they wanted an extra $500 to check out early, despite spending over $3k total on the rental. When I checked it back in at another location, I was informed they never completed the contract close out paperwork on their end enabling me to obtain a receipt. Absolutely terrible customer service

I had a great experience up until I brought the car back and received a receipt. I tried to explain to Jay (name check) that I had already paid 100.83. He acted like that was a hold on my account and that only what was owed would be taken. I explained it wasn't a hold. It had came out of my checking account. To avoid arguing I left giving him the benefit of doubt. Once the money for the bill came out of my account, I went to their office the next day. I explained what happened with receipt and bank statement in hand. They explained they have to call customer service for a refund to be applied. I waited for over an hour for Jay to tell me in 3 working days I should receive the refund. This was a Friday. So here it is Wednesday at the end of the working day and I have received nothing so I call Jay who tells me he will look into it and call me back. So if I dont get a call back by their COB today, tomorrow I will come up there and would like to speak to someone over Jay because I refuse to just let 100.83 of my money go.

Rented a car on line (they took the entire amount) then when I went to pick it up they told me I couldn't rent the car with a debit card.
