Rent-A-Wreck

I have never rented from them but have experienced some issues! They let a whole person darker and much bigger than me rent a vehical in my name and the guy gonna tell me they had suspicience that the person wasn't the one on the I'd but they rented it anyways and is giving me hell trying to clear my name! So yes im pissed and hope no one EVER rents a car from here ever!!!! Then the guy that was helping me claims corporate said to stay out of it!!!

BEWARE!!! If I could give a zero star rating. I rented a Uhaul from these people and recieved a charge for fuel I replaced plus a little extra. Called to rectify the issue and the representative lied to me "Uhaul calculates the fuel by the milage we have nothing to do with it" . I have been renting Uhaul's for years, my husband is a general contractor. My college education enables me to know bs when I hear it. Um really? Wouldn't a representative have to manually enter the information into the Uhaul system for billing? Corporate said yes to that question. My name may be different (it's an island not of ghetto orgin), still that doesn't mean I'm ignorant or unaware. I know people can make mistakes but this was no mistake the representative lied and proceeded to explain the lie to me like I was so ignorant. She said "let me try to explain this to you again because you're not understanding". Make sure you check your bank account when dealing with these people. They will rip you off if they think they can.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I rented a vehicle from rent a wreck on March 5th 2018 for 1 day. I returned the vehicle on March 6th 2018. Upon inspection the employee called me out to the car to tell me I will be charged a odor removal fee because she smelled smoke in the vehicle. I inspected the car myself and smelled nothing. I told her I do not smoke but was willing to take the vehicle to go get cleaned because I arrived 3 hrs early and still had time to thoroughly clean the vehicle. The male owner (Phillp)aggressively told me NO we'll hire people to take care of it because I will only mess it up more.. I explained again that I do not smoke and do not smell ANYTHING in the vehicle but will take the time to clean it the best I can ( Vacuum & spray a oderless deodorizer) He told me to leave his permisses before he calls the police and have me & my Mother escorted. I have a recording of our conversation that I can send in. This is a family owned business and everyone there was related. I honestly believe this is how they take money from people. Make up something to hold their deposits. It's my word against theirs and they take advantage of the contracts that was signed because know you are bonded by your signature. I couldn't do anything but cry because he wasn't willing me to work with me. I offered several times to take the car to get cleaned myself and ultimately told all Iwould do is mess it up more. I paid for 1 day of service and had every right to take the car where ever I pleased because I still had 3 hrs remaining on my contract. They refused to give me the keys back. They Male owner was very rude and had absolutely no customer service. Unfortunately, this is why it's so hard to support small businesses because some tend to take advantage of their customers. I do not smoke and no smoke smell was present in my rental. Also, while I was inside the rental car company on my day of renting I over heard a few conversations between the Phillp and other customers calling with complaints. Not only did they fabricate a problem to keep my security deposit they renege on their contract by not allowing me the keys to leave. The contract wasn't closed yet.

Great selection of cars. Customer service was fantastic !!!! Will rent again.

Ur better off going to some one else! Ur better off going with someone else. Rent a wreck the name says it all!
