In general good staff and good experience. Vehicle was good and they ensured I am happy with the car I rented. But to mention Enterprise advertised they have a dropoff and pickup service with no time limits given anywhere. This particular office told me they stop that service after 5.20 PM and when I dropped the car at 5.30 they refused to drop me at the nearest metro station (1.5 mile away) and I had to walk myself in a cold weather to the station. I am a Gold member at Enterprise.
I did one more rental from this place and this time received an SUV for a monthly rental. I told the service rep that there is a cigar smell inside the car and he said, it is a perfume they use. It was a lie. I found several cigar butts inside the car later. They never clean the car properly. It was disappointing.
I stopped renting car from this location

Absolutely horrible experience. After just 1.5 hrs on our 12 hr drive to Illinois, the transmission blew out on our 2018 F-150 that we were "upgraded" to at the Fairfax, VA location on Nutley St. We sat on the side of a highway in WV for nearly 4 hrs hours waiting to be towed. We were told on the phone by Enterprise road assistance that we would be towed 200 mi to Pittsburgh because that was the only available rental we could get that time of night. The tow truck driver told us Enterprise only told him to tow us to Winchester VA (backtracking an hour), where we then had no car at all at 11pm. The roadside assistance conveniently stopped returning our calls. We spent over $200 (LOST MONEY!) to get back to our original home location in Fairfax VA. Overnight after speaking to a few representatives, we were told they would have a complimentary car waiting if we chose to fly out the next morning to still make our $300 per person (LOST MONEY!) event. The same lady, Carla, said our local Fairfax branch would organize this without a problem.
We decided to try and fly into Chicago in the morning, and contacted the Fairfax poor excuse of a manager, Sean, who gave us the P.O.S. truck the day before. He told us we would have to pay $600 for a rental in Chicago. This is on top of the flight we were going to have to now purchase for $700 and the $200 Uber home the night before. Needless to say our trip was cancelled after that, However, he did not care one bit, had an attitude, and continued to say how well they take care of their cars and that flukes happen. I'm sorry Sean, but no 2018 car with 2k miles on it has a transmission that blows out if it is well taken care of. And even if accidents do happen, your customer service to resolve the issue completely SUCKED! Terrible branch customer service, roadside assistance, and company in general. Myself and my friends are out hundreds of dollars from this total screw up.

I was very disappointed with the service which I received with this rental May 8-11. The service rep. very quickly went did the walk around on the car; she did not automatically offer me a paper copy of the contract or the franchise's phone/contact information. The front license was not attached to the front of the car, but rather stuck in the passenger's side dashboard/windshield. The car also did not have a CD player and I'd brought two audio books to reach on my 6 hour drive. When I inquired about this she said most of their vehicles now only have Bluetooth. I find that to be unacceptable. Not everyone uses a Bluetooth device! The only positive I really had was the fuel economy of the vehicle.

Completely dishonest!! I rented a car from this location. Dropped it off on time on Sunday night when no one was there (as directed). At 10 am the next morning they sent me a receipt for additional $100 in charges because they said it was dirty and had dog hair in it! I never put a dog in the car. During the call they said I was lying about a dog. I asked them to send a picture of what they claimed but they said no because it was already detailed. So between 9 am and 10 am they opened the store, checked in my rental among the others and called an off site detailer to come in and have it detailed all before 10 am. I have rented cars many times for business and pleasure. This has NEVER happened to me before. I couldn't believe their flagrant accusation and complete lack of customer service. I called Enterprise corporate who assured me someone would call me back and nothing..Not only will I never use this location again, I will never use enterprise again.

I had a very good experience with the Nutley Street Enterprise store. I rented a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck for two days. Very reasonable price, and unlimited miles. I picked up the truck at the Nutley Street store. The truck was a current model-year in clean condition. The truck was used to haul heavy equipment 200 miles. I had the truck for two days. I dropped-off the truck after hours, and left keys in the night drop. Through my own oversight, I left a small personal item in the truck. I was able to recover that item quickly the next day. The staff was courteous and professional. They do hard-sell the extra insurance. I did my usual hard sell-decline of the extra insurance. Yes, I do understand the concept of insurance and deductibles. Let your wallet, and your driving skills, and your choices about the places you drive, be your guide on issues of insurance. I would rent from this store again.
