Avis Rent A Car

I waited 1 hour in queue to get a pre-booked rental. The representative said that they didn't expect so many people on this day 11 Oct?? Totally disorganized at this location. Try a different Avis location i.e. the one on 225 E 43rd Street for a more professional experience.

I've rented cars from the Manhattan E64 Avis location for more than a decade. On the whole, very good experiences. The front desk lady who has been at the E64 location in Manhattan, NYC over the past five+ years is just great. She makes things easy for the customer and quickly resolves any concerns.

Only opens until 3 pm which causes a lot of people to pick their cars up during a shorter period of time, leading to more people waiting outside during a pandemic. Customer service is mediocre at best as if the customer is so lucky to be renting from them.

Clean and organized, and pick-up and drop-off were super easy. Docking 1 star because they're only open until 3pm on weekends, which is a major inconvenience and forces you to do an overnight rental. Because of their hours, we will rent less frequently because planning becomes such a hassle and it is expensive to rent!!.

Absolutely terrible...didnt give me the cat I ordered, even charged me for gas even though the tank was full. Rather than fight, i just walked away. Worst experience ever.
