Budget Car and Truck Rental

I rented a car on Saturday, November 11, 2017 and returned it the same evening. I made my reservation online and expected to be charged for one day. The agent told me that would be fine. Unbeknownst to me the agency was closed on Sunday. The agent gave me no indication of this so I was charged for two days. Deceitful, unprofessional and I will never go to Budget again. To anyone who does, good luck!!!😠

I would not recommend this budget to anyone, picked up our minivan and it was completely filthy told the employee that as we were looking over the vehicle with her and she had nothing to say told her multiple times how disgusting the inside of the vehicle was and she just stood there. Being that we were leaving town we left with the van and spent about an hour or so cleaning out the interior of the vehicle, there was leftover trash, french fries, earrings etc. still left in the vehicle from whoever rented it before! I called budget corporate and they explained their sincere apologies and that they would be contacting that locations management and that they would hope we would at least be reimbursed for a days rental. A few days later someone from Budget called my husband and apologized for the inconvenience and mentioned they would take $25 off of our bill for cleaning. Once we returned the van we checked our account and there was no credit from Budget. My husband once again called the location and explained to him the situation and that someone had mentioned they would credit our bill and the guy said they shouldn't have told you that I'll have to talk to the lady that was working that day and get back to you and we have still not received a response! This was 4 days ago, obviously management at this location does not honor Budgets word and doesn't make sure that his rentals are clean as they are supposed to be! Seems to me someone needs to stop being lazy and do their job!

Terrible experience. Car was rented a month in advance, a personal visit was made to the location and a call made the day before to confirm car rental. When we got there-NO CAR! The best the regional general manager could do was a pick-up truck or a 15 PASSENGER VAN for 3 ladies to drive from Wichita, Ks to Corpus Christi, Texas!!! NO THANK YOU. Very unprofessional, Budget. Will never do business here. I recommend Enterprise on East Kellogg...they saved our trip and had excellent customer service.
