Needed to rent a car at last minute and found one here for $21 a day online.
Very reasonable rates if you want to drive to the airport. Friendly staff and great service.
No outrageous fees like other car rental companies. My total two day rental was $53.
Plus I received free upgrade because my selected car wasn't available.
I would recommend them on last minute rentals. Just like any business they want the sales for day if they have car available. So if cutting a deal is what it takes that's what they do. It's all sales.

I sent one of my employees here for a rental car to take for some training out of state. I booked the reservation for $165 and the employee brought back all the receipt documentation for $560. I called to try and discuss with the rental group and they NEVER answer their phone. Went through the national agency and all they do is funnel your complaint to a department that sends an e-mail closing the complaint b/c they deem the charges accurate.
Updated review: agency did finally work with me on the charges and provided a credit for some of the additional charges. Appreciated their follow-up on this and will work with them again in the future.

I was charged an additional $200 on top of what I paid for my rental car. I have called and no one is helping me. This is fraud. Straight up stealing from people. Shameful. Please don’t rent a car from Payless.

Is a zero star rating an option? This company is the biggest crook that I've had to deal with. Rented a car while I was in town for Christmas. I booked late and this was the only place at the airport that had a car available for the days I was there. Nearly 2 weeks after I returned the car I get a charge for $568. Called them and their customer service department told me that I returned the car on January 2nd (I returned the car and flew home on December 26th). Their customer service department opened a ticket to get it resolved on Friday, the following Monday I get another charge for an additional $125 (which is what I should've been charged originally). I called their customer service number again and requested a corporate number to get this resolved as fast as possible as I have not been able to pay my January rent because of this. No one, doesn't matter if it's the airport location, or the customer service department, is willing to give out a corporate number. It's now January 9th, my rent is still not paid, I'm getting charged an additional $250 in late rent and overdraft fees (on top of the $700 in rental fees), and I'm still waiting on a resolution. I'm done wasting my time to get this resolved, the next time they hear from me is going to be through a lawyer.
Do yourself, and everyone else a favor, DO NOT rent from them. Next time I'm in town and they are the only ones with a car available, I'll walk, or Uber everywhere, be a lot cheaper than the $950 this has cost me so far.

will never try to rent from them again. They tried to charge me double for my rental. I made my reservation on line, then when I went to pick up the car they tried to charge me again. When I asked why I was being charged double I was told that is their policy. I called the customer service to question them and was told that they do a $100 "hold" until you return the car. On top of the rental price. I have NEVER had such a hard time trying to rent a car. I guess next time I will go back to Enterprise, I've never had trouble with them. You can't even give 0 stars on this site, so even though that's what I wanted to give, they will get 1.
