Chateau Avalon

Absolutely fabulous. The coolest hotel I have ever stayed at. The themed rooms are amazing!!! The staff, from the front desk to grounds keeper, are all incredibly friendly. The rooms are quiet and peaceful, despite being near the highway and raceway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and can't wait to stay there again!

Fun themed rooms. Wine bar has a good variety and they are running a spring cleaning sale of 25 percent off. Rooms were clean and hot tub for two is relaxing. Breakfast in the room included, the $25 voucher is plenty of money for a good meal. Coffee and tea are free. Exterior needs some maintenance. Great location at Village West. Also, couples massage was excellent. Private room on the third floor and excellent local therapists.

We loved our recent stay at Chateau Avalon. Our room was the Pirate Cove. It was unique, charming, spotlessly clean & tremendously comfortable. It is a wonderful place for a quiet romantic overnight get-a-way. They have many new amenities they are offering also to make it a more pleasant stay. We always have an excellent time when we stay in any of the rooms. The staff is fantastic too. Thank you

My husband and I love to stay here and especially in the Jesse James suite. They really know how to take care if their guests. In addition to great front desk help their bartender is very congenial. Pat knows how to get the whole room involved in conversation and have a great time. Will continue to come back when staying in KC.

When we first pulled up We thought this is going to be Amazing!! We walked in & thought this is Beautiful! But then as we were going into our room other people were coming out. The staff was showing our room to other people! How tacky is that? We walked in & first impression was WOW! But then we noticed that the ship was falling & the carpet was stained & coming up. There was a box fan because the heating & air was not up to Parr! The flower pot on the tree was busted. & the bathroom vanity was falling off the wall! & Soap was still left on the sink from last person. YUCK!! Paint peeling. Bed was terrible didn't even have a head board. So bad we both were up every hour!!! :( Very sad. We loved the idea we felt like we were in another part of the world! & loved the tub!
