Holiday Inn Express Kansas City - Bonner Springs

The room was huge...2 queens. Clean, smelled nice, quiet even though it is next to the highway.. A+. The only negative is the breakfast was horrible. The eggs were the texture of sand particles. There was no bacon. The sausage were flavorless hockey puck and the gravy had a weird taste. They did have a fresh pancake maker which was a plus.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Was here for training. Staff was great. They even provide me with a list of restaurants for where to eat. Room was very clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Will stay again

Rain water flooded the room by the ac unit. Good few gal. Right where i placed my bag and didn't notice till my close were wet. Beds only had 2 pillows that sucked. And beds made all kinds of noise when moving around. And the breakfast was pretty much only biscuits and gravy.

We had a rather unpleasant stay at this property. I usually enjoy the Holiday Inn brand but apparently customer service has not been emphasized at this location. We had to wait almost a half an hour for someone to greet us and check us in. He was not in the least concerned about making sure we had all the information about our room and the hotel. We had a "jacuzzi" tub, paid extra money for this room. The tub did not work very well. And while I still received a pleasant massaging bath I had to keep the water running to keep the tub filled. The morning breakfast was enjoyable, and we had no issues with check out. However I won't stay at this property again.

I am a IHG Gold member so I stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels all the time. On Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m. a group of boys from a youth baseball team ran up and down the hall making noise. Then Saturday night when my son was trying to go to sleep the three rooms across from mine, had their doors open and were having a party (drinking beer included) in the hallway right outside my door. I called the front office and they did come up and tell the people to go to their rooms. Sunday morning we were awakened at 7 a.m, to a screaming toddler right out side my door and anther (probably 5 year old) talking very loudly. I tried to call the front desk but no one answered. Finally, at 7:30 I got up and opened my door to tell the two little girls to go back in their rooms. The mother was standing in the bathroom of her room, doing her makeup with the door wide open and just looked at me. I mentioned this at checkout and the front desk girl said they had numerous complaints about this group. Management should have asked these guests to leave on Sunday morning if they had that many complaints about them. As a Gold Member this is not the level of service I expect from a Holiday Inn Express.. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. TV seemed small for the room. Breakfast was ok but not as good as other Holiday Inn Express that I have stayed at in the past.
