Had a great two-night stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Interior was updated and modern. Daily breakfast offering was extensive. We really like the park-like atmosphere around the outdoor patio and basketball court. I highly recommend staying at this property.
Room was much larger than I had thought, which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 small kids. There was a small but equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, cooking hob, and a full, yes FULL size refrigerator! Pool was perfect, biggest drawback was no hot tub, but that's a very minor thing. Check-in/out was quick and easy. Overall, a fantastic stay!!!
The location is very convenient and you have a ton of restaurants and stores at walking distance. The rooms were nice and clean. But maids don't come in on weekends. But they did give us plenty of towels so we can shower. People there were super nice. Will go back.Rooms: 5/5
So clean. Comfortable bed. The suites are perfect. Front desk was lovely as I made my reservation at 11pm. And I love that they accommodate pets. Awesome to find when you are done driving through the whole state of Kansas!
My children and I visited this Homewood Suites this past weekend. The service was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The place was freshly decorated and clean. Breakfast was really good and well stocked. We're definitely planning on making this our place to stay when we visit our family.Rooms: 5/5
When we arrived we waited for 25 minutes to check in because no one was at the front desk. The when we went down to use the pool it was so disgustingly dirty trash, including used band aids everywhere, hair clumps floating in the pool and dirt on the bottom. Because we had planned on swimming that evening, instead we had to find something else to do that was an unplanned out of pocket cost. After returning more than 4 hours later at 9:30 we checked back to see if the pool area had been cleaned and it was the same and the people in the pool now had both doors propped open with trash cans so that anyone could come in and out. There were no bath towels in our room and no towels at the pool, when we asked the front desk for towels to shower they gave us two there were 3 of us and said they didn’t have any more clean ones in the building. There was trash and dirty towels lining the hallway the entire time we were there. When we came down for breakfast at 8:30 there was no waffle batter, no hot food, two pieces of bread were the only thing left in the bread and bagels and there was no orange juice or water and only very watered down apple juice. After 20 minutes we gave up waiting for it to be refilled and ordered breakfast and had it delivered to the hotel. Every employee we encountered seemed exhausted and run down and were understandably less than pleasant. We have stayed at this location in the past and had a wonderful experience, needless to say we won’t be returning unless guaranteed that these things will have improved.
My stay is for 40 nights and I have 12 to go. The amount of times I’ve had to go to the front desk to have my room cleaned is totally unacceptable. Signs say.. “housekeeping comes in after the 5th night.” It’s been 7 days…… I went home for the Holiday weekend and I expected to return to fresh sheets. It’s not like I’m here for just a few nights.
Our stay was great except while we were leaving. We pulled the car up to their port to load it our stay was over and someone hopped in our car and stole it! Hotel told us we could either pay for another night or leave after we spoke to the cops. Basically a billion dollar company with no compassion
BE AWARE BOOKING THIS LOCATION: The hotel rooms have BED BUGS, management does not cooperate, and does NOT COMPENSATE. We found live bed bugs crawling across the bed at 3am and left with 50+ bites all over, with no effort or communication from management to compensate even the bare minimum of the room, nevertheless a verbal apology for the situation. As the manager was not in at the time when we found the bed bugs, we were told to wait till 8 am and given a secondary room to transfer to, but the room was not clean and had old blood and urinary stains on the mattress, leaving us no choice but to sit and wait around till the manager was in and endure the bed bugs with no answers. This hotel does not care for its sanitary inspection based on the rooms and mattress conditions, and they do not care to help their guests at all. The manager gave no apology, and no effort to help on the situation. We did not even receive an answer on compensation while we were there, despite having to pay for treatment for the car, the bites itself, and replacement of our damaged and infested clothes. We have submitted all proof of bed bugs including videos of the live ones, proof of all the bites all over, doctors note and all and we have still yet to hear anything back. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
I highly recommend this hotel! My daughter, her boyfriend & I went to a concert at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs less than 10 minutes away if you take away the traffic and this was the perfect choice to stay. The room itself along with the entire hotel was super clean. Our stay was short but we loved it! The location is perfect with food choices & shopping all around!
