DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis

Hotel was nice, clean and in a good location. Looked to be run fairly well. Was there for a conference. We were served lunch which was okay. I would give them a chance for an overnight stay if I had the need. Some business partners did stay and they said the rooms were nice.

I wasn't very happy with the lack of curtains beyond the sheets on the window. Since we were on the first floor, the light from the parking lot was horribly bright. I forget to take pictures, sorry. Otherwise, the staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Pillows were awesome. The beds were also very comfortable. We didn't eat or drink, so can't comment on bar/restaurant. I would not stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and nice atmosphere. Staff is extremely attentive and polite. We were given a warm chocolate chip cookie when we checked in, and that was just the ticket after 3 1/2 hours in traffic! Felt right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here again

Older building but very well maintained. Public spaces and rooms are clean. Staff is nice, helpful. Check in is quick. The warm chocolate chip cookies are a nice touch. There is free WiFi (unsecured). Final bill is sent to email to speed up check out. Coffee makers in the rooms. Some rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. They seem to have dispensed with vending machines on the floors in favor of a small snack area near the front desk (that lets you charge snacks to the room instead of having to find change or appropriate bills). There is a smallish bar/restaurant. Menu is not extensive; features foods that can be prepared quickly (entree salads, burgers, crab cakes) so food is delivered quickly. Many meeting rooms are available.

I've been going here for years and the service is always good. Same goes with the food for the breakfast buffet. Nice gym as well as pool. I would highly recommend.
