Hampton Inn Baltimore-Washington International Airport

This is a pleasant airport hotel. The shuttle picked us up from BWI around 2 am, and we were able to sleep soundly, eat a full breakfast and head on our way the next day. The highlight of our stay was the night clerk, Kevin. He got us checked in quickly, was very helpful with transit options and was patient/friendly with us at the end is a long day of travel. His service made this a hotel worth re-booking.

The decor is a little outdated in the room and it's a popular hotel so parking became an issue, but outside those two relatively minor things, the hotel is great. Gym is nothing special but it was decent enough that I was able to get a light workout in. Bed was large and comfortable. Staff was friendly and the breakfast options were good. It's not a "5 star hotel" but if you come in expecting a pleasant experience at a nice hotel, you'll leave satisfied.

This place needs a complete overhaul. There was a moldy substance in the bathroom, walls that were in need of repair and the list goes on. The breakfast in the morning was good, and the location was convenient for our stay. They are full to capacity for the memorial day weekend, but really understaffed to handle the occupancy. Other choices of hotels in the area should be considered. A real disappointment.

I wish I could comment w/o marking even one star. I arrived there with friends on this past Friday, May 4 & the moment we walked in the room I knew there would be a problem. It had a funny smell. Then, we sort of settled in & my friend suddenly started screaming. She said she saw bugs on the bed. I quickly called an Uber & although I was tired as hell I got my car & drove home at 3am. Be careful going to this hotel. You may leave with more than your luggage.

The room we were in was very clean and the coffee was hot and the water with orange in it was very nice. The hotel staff was very nice too. All of them would speak in the hallways and be very pleasant.
