La Quinta Inn & Suites Hartford - Bradley Airport

Nice staff, although beds were a bit hard. Rooms were well kept and the temperature was easy to adjust. They had a nice breakfast service available with a waffle maker. Coffee and other breakfast items were very nice. We only stayed one night, so it was hard to get more insight into their amenities. Currently they are under construction, which was the only big issue we had with the location.

I know the appearance might be a little crazy right now but they are underway with some awesome renovations! My reasoning for 4 stars is because 2 times now, I have stayed in a room and had a faint odor of cigarette smells coming from the bathroom vent. This sucks for people who don't smoke and have to deal with the smell, especially coming from the bathroom of all places. I will definitely continue staying here though when I am in the Windsor Locks area. The staff is nice, the rooms are always clean and the breakfast is pretty good.

Although my stay began very well, I was applaud on the third day of my stay when my privacy was invaded by the staff! I left to attend an event, with the Do not Disturb request inserted in the keycard lock as directed. Upon my return I discovered the staff ignored the Do Not Disturb, ignored my right to privacy, and enter the room and changed out the remote control, of which I am very sure required a bit of a search to locate. My personal belonging were about the room and even prescription narcotics were on the sink top, I did not secure these items as no one, but me, should have been entering the room. If the remote needed to be exchanged a simple message left on my room phone to notify them when I return or to come to the desk for an exchange would have been the appropriate action, going into my room without my permission, searching it to locate the remote in my absence was a serious violation of my privacy!

Very nice room. Clean and quiet. They were renovating at the time so lobby was moved to a room. It was clearly labelled though, just odd. But staff was friendly room worth the price. Good value for a good room at a reasonable price in the area.

I’ve been a La Quinta rewards member for years now. This location is just fine. Yes, there are renovations in progress. This is to bring us an even better stay. There are clear signs as to where to check-in, breakfast, etc. posted when you walk in. The room was spotless and quiet. Staff members were very courteous.
