Mediacom Communications Corporation

Well back with mediacom because the competition couldn't give what they promised. However, this time I had a great tech do the install and set everything up for 1G and it's been great. Definitely a turnaround from previous experiences and billing is even better.

I have to say Mediacom never disappoints. Everyday I expect to either have my TV or my internet go out at least for a few minutes and they always come through. Worst service I have ever had! Could not and would not recommend their service to anyone it is a waste of your money!

I've had Mediacom's services for a month now. For 3 of those 4 weeks every single day my internet would go down for about 3-7 hours at random times. The final week has gone a lot better with only two, very minimal incidents that only took me offline for 5 - 10 minutes. When the service is working it works very well. Good download and upload speeds and the equipment brought to my house was clean and doesn't look damaged at least on The outside. So far is been more headaches than relaxation.

So, I have the new 1 Gig internet plan plus a new router to go hand to hand with that. I thought that my days of lagging and frustration with Mediacom where over, little did I know it was just the beginning of being stressed out due to the fact that I'm lagging day and night WITH a 1 Gig internet plan. Now, some may be saying to just call them about it, but I'd have to wait for more time than I'm comfortable with just to talk to someone who will probably put me on another line that will take even longer. Moral of the story is if you can get a different internet plan other than Mediacom do it, for the love of god just do it.
