Norvac Electronic Parts

Just started going here, I'm not sure why I didn't start sooner. They are very helpful, from carrying bulk items to packaged components. The folks here are knowledgeable, which is wonderful for someone like me who's getting started with electrical projects.

Norvac Electronics is a GREAT place to seek, AND FIND, all sorts of 'Legacy' (meaning 'Old') and current day electronic parts and supplies for just about any electronic repairing, refurbishment, or build. The owners, Jim & Bonnie, are second generation owners from the family which started the company, and they are extremely knowledgeable about all things electronic, as well as really nice to work with. There prices are VERY reasonable, and if you can't find what you need their and then, they can assist you to find what you want elsewhere. They are located at 2110 Commercial Street NE in Salem. Their hours are: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm; and, Saturday's, 10am to 5pm

Absolutely amazing people and kind. The best place to hang out. Great items for cheap prices. Transformers, capacitors, diodes, resistors. Newest material and great staff. Come here anytime!

I have been to Norvac a number of times and have found the knowledge and service of the owners to be excellent! I am more or less tech challenged and Jim (one of the owners) has always gone above and beyond to fix my little difficulties. Today (11/3) I handed him a device and he researched it on Google for around 10-15 min until he found just the right solution. Plus they play cool music and have a cool dog.

Love Norvac, the owner is friendly and helpful and he keeps a lot of hard to get items in stock and his prices are good as well. Been going to this place for years and hope it sticks around for many more.
