Red Roof Inn Ames

All rooms are pet friendly. Our room had some weird hair on the floor in a few places, looks like a girl brushd her hair. The breakfast wasn't gluten free friendly, but I was able to eat a banana. It was a pretty okay place to stay and we probably would again.

Recently renovated, new furniture, new painting, in lieu of carpeting now there's vinyl wood-like floor (good for people with allergies or who bring their pets along). Missing in our room was the mini coffee maker, but tea & coffee packets there. No little notepad or pen, no Kleenex. Older shower plastic enclosure with missing drain plugs. Just needed a bit more attention to these little details. Also, they should have cleaned their ventilation system, lots of dust & fuzzin them. Otherwise, good stay. Clean comfortable beds, linens & towels.

The rooms were clean and updated. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice. Overall a good deal for the price!

This is a very well run property that has apparently been recently renovated. We had a very pleasant stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Solid remodeled rooms comfy beds service was a tad slow at the front desk but other than that all good.
