TownePlace Suites by Marriott Ames

We were in town for a HS hockey tournament and found out very last minute about a schedule change in our games which affected our reservation. The front desk was so accommodating and understanding and took care of everything for us. Our room was beautiful, roomy, and spotless. Breakfast was delicious. We couldn't be happier and will definitely stay there the next time we visit Ames!

Top notch for the price. I've grown to appreciate this place more now that I've stayed at several other similar hotels for work recently. The suite was comfy, well laid out, and had EVERYTHING I needed for extended stay. I felt like I had a nice apartment away from home.

Room is perfect, amazing bed tons of amenities and facilities are on top shape, staff has been great and the breakfast had eggs bacon sausage and the usuals

The room was awesome! Each bed had its own separate bedroom. Each bedroom also had its own separate bathroom. There was also a living room and kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was super clean. It's very convenient to get to from the highway.

Really nice room, with awesome kitchenette (that went unused on one-night stay). One minor annoyance....bathroom door is on tension hinges so always wants to close. "Forced" privacy seems somewhat pointless in a private room, especially when trying to watch TV while brushing teeth (hey, the game was on!). Microwave cheese omelettes and overcooked (crumbly) bacon leave a bit to be desired, but coffee was great. Didn't have opportunity to check out fitness center on this stay.
