Voepel Property Management

We are new renters and have been very satisfied with Voepel Management. We put our application in, and requested to move in immediately, if possible. They got our application reviewed and I think it was the next day we heard back from them. We signed the lease, got the keys and started moving in asap. Julie and Jennifer were so nice and very helpful and responsive to our questions. The house we are in was apparently recently bought, so we are the first to rent under this management. Because the house was empty for a few months (maybe longer?) there were some kinks that needed to be worked out, which is to be expected when you buy a new house. The dishwasher needed replaced, and their maintenance team (Bobby) got right on it immediately. Then we found out our air conditioner wasn't working, again, maintenance (Elijah) was right on it. They supplied us with a window ac unit until they could get approval from the landlord to replace the air conditioner. While waiting for the new ac, we found out that the water heater needed replaced as well. Again, maintenance was right on it. It was replaced right away, but we encountered an issue with the heater which caused a gas leak. We called the emergency maintenance and the guy on call (Donnie) came out close to midnight and stayed until almost 1 am, then he came right back shortly after 8 am to try to fix it. Walt (who put the water heater in) came over on Saturday (his day off) to help with the water heater, and ended up just having to replace the whole thing. Both maintenance workers were extremely nice (and the other maintenance workers mentioned) and quick to fix the issue. After waiting a week, at no fault of the management company for a new ac unit, today it was replaced. The maintenance worker was quick, and very nice as well. Mary has been very patient with us as we called in every other day to find out about the ac unit, and we are thankful for her working quickly to get maintenance out to fix each issue. All around this is a great company, I highly recommend them.

I inquired about a specific property Voepel recently purchased. I wanted to see if a unit would be available when our current lease ends. Julie at Voepel told me she didn't have a crystal ball. Wow, how unprofessional. It seems like you would know if units would be available or not. Even if you don't know, there is a more professional way to state you simply do not know. We will definitely take our business else where. So if this how you treat a potential customer, definitely not worth my time or money. Thanks for the warning!

I am a newer tenant to Voepel. I have not had any issues thus far. My application was processed quickly and was approved. I needed a place quickly and the office staff moved promptly with me to get my situated. Walt and Austin(their plumbers) have been out twice to do some maintenance and repairs. They are kind and courteous fellows. They are nice to my dogs and make sure I understand what they are doing.

We've just moved in but Voepel has been amazing, attentive, and quick to respond to any and all issues. For instance, the oven had a slight problem upon move in and they sent someone out to check it out and figure out a plan of action. Long story short, a new oven arrived and the maintenance person, Walt, showed up to get the shutoff valve plumbed in. Walt was outstanding, very personable and answered all of my questions and is just a great guy overall. Update 5 months later: I had an issue with a basement drain and made a maintenance ticket at 4 this morning while at work. I got a call at 8:30am asking if I was home for them to come by. Within an hour they were here and the issue fixed. As with last time Walt put up pleasantly with all my incessant questions and took the time to explain things to me.

Just rented a place with Voepel, so not much of a history to share. What I have experienced so far has been very good. Website to request maintenance and make payment is simple to navigate. Had to have Walt come out for plumbing work, and he was engaging and friendly. He took care of the problem quickly. I also needed the air conditioner fixed, which required two work orders. They were fast and responsive to get the man here. He was also friendly and courteous. I just have a problem with the mailbox on the front of the house requiring a key, which has yet to be resolved. I don’t get much mail, but want to be able to get it when I do. This is the only thing that keeps me from giving five stars right now, and will review again when taken care of.
