Ambassador Hotel Kansas City, Autograph Collection

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a stay here. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Offered us a free shuttle to take us to dinner on the plaza. Return service was prompt and the drivers were very friendly and safe. 5 stars aren't enough to rate them as highly as we want. The room was great, clean, comfortable. The only reason we rated 4 stars instead of 5 is the new design trend of putting a sliding door in front of the bathroom opening. The bathroom should be a private place that we can shut the door. The sliding door is essentially a curtain that does not give you privacy, does not block sounds and smells from being experienced in the bedroom. Some rooms need an actual door. The bathroom is one of them.

Good service, would like to see a good restaurant get in there or step up food. But great location and awesome that they have a car and driver if needed for short trips.

Great location. Easy yo get to and leave. Awesome desk staff. Awesome room. Clean comfy bed. Soft clean towels. A minute walk to Sprint Center and The Power & Light District. Staying agsin in May. A must RSVP hotel

I went out Sunday night to the Reserve Restaurant & Lounge located in the Ambassador Hotel downtown because they're open till 11 p.m. and it was such an awesome experience... the Ambiance was so contemporary and elegant... the food was absolutely superb... this place is located in the historic 1111 Grand Avenue... the building is ancient... it seems like this place is a hidden gem... absolutely loved the place and would love to go back... they have like 45 rooms there and I think it's like 200 bucks a night.
