Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza

I couldn't say enough nice things about this hotel. We had an amazing room on the 17th floor that over looked The Plaza. It was clean and I really appreciated that it was decorated with pictures of local places. I would rate the staff six stars if I could though. Everyone that we encountered was so helpful and friendly. They gave us great recommendations on where to go to eat and drink. I will definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Kansas City.

A few little things lower the score. 1. Wasn't asked if I needed parking (and the $17 fee is a little ridiculous). 2. When booking directly on mariott's website, it allows you to customize some things - we did not get the requested walk in shower, nor did we get extra pillows as requested (only the pillows were indicated as potentially something that couldn't be fulfilled). 3. Was not asked how our stay was upon check out. 4. Shower curtain was too short for the shower/tub. On the bright side, we liked the modern look of the room. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked properly. Room looked mostly clean, and we appreciated the large bathroom. For the area, the price wasn't too bad (although again $17 for parking is ridiculous).

Best hotel in Kansas City. Super clean, super nice, easy to get to the plaza. Best anniversary I've ever had. The beds are "Oh my gawd comfy", and I loved the pillows, so PLUSH! Wow, awesome place, great service they upgraded us for no particular reason, and they are all super friendly and helpful. Will most definitely return any time I want to be near the historic plaza in KC Mo.

Beautiful hotel! Great stay! We had to wait too long for a shuttle however so we just took an uber. Within walking distance of the Plaza. Great for shopping and restaurants! I love how there is a Starbucks downstairs!

Stayed in one of the luxury king suites. Great view of the plaza. Hotel staff were very accommodating. Had deliveries to the hotel (flowers, edible arrangement, etc) and they placed the flowers in our room and the edibles in our fridge. Nice surprise for my fiancée. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne upon hearing of our engagement! The only negative was that there wasn't a microwave in the room, which wood have been convenient. Overall, a great stay and I highly recommend.
