The Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection

Decided to treat the wife to a nice hotel night. So I booked the "romance" package. Rose petals on the bed we're nice. To be honest the bottle of wine retails for $7.99 and the picture frame was cute but I dunno I feel like the $400.00 I paid I could have gotten more for my money. Breakfast came on time and neither.my wife or I finished it. It was kinda bland Denny's quality food. I feel bad leaving such an honest review because the staff were super friendly and professional and the room was cute (although hot and muggy the thermostat did not work well) but I left feeling like I could have done allot more for $400.00 for my wife. UPDATE. The manager contacted me and we worked it out. I will absolutely be giving them another chance this summer.

Love this hotel. The rooms are clean, elegant and comfortable. The restaurant is very good and the bar has jazz at night -- a real treat. In nice weather, the patio in front is excellent -- and again, music! Parking was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Many good dining and entertainment options within walking distance, as well.

Anniversary night out. We had the mini-suite which was nice. Had the Chaz aged strip steak around 10pm with 🍤 cocktail. It was awesome. We also had breakfast in bed which was great too. It was a nice stay, a little on the pricey side but for a special occasion it was nice.

Cozy, very nice, Boutique. Well kept, clean rooms, very nice hotel and very friendly staff. There is an outdoor mall basically across the street, so many walkable options. Starbucks, restaurants, shopping. This was a great base of operations for roaming Kansas City... Boulevard was maybe 10 minutes away. Highly recommend, we will be staying here again when we go back to Kansas City

Came up to Kansas City for the weekend and wasn’t sure where to stay. We chose The Raphael after seeing it is a Marriott, and we usually stay at Marriott as the beds are predictably comfortable. We were sadly disappointed. We could feel the springs from the mattress through the ‘pillow top’, we couldn’t get the temperature in the room cool enough to get comfortable. I had requested extra down pillows...didn’t deliver, and the elevator was broken. The location is great, though!
