We enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was okay, service at breakfast was great. We enjoyed time at the bar after coming back from the Royals game. The bartender was good at her job and funny. I think her name was Simone.

To be honest, we were seriously underwhelmed and fairly disappointed. My husband travels rather frequently for work and has become a rewards member with Holiday Inn because of it. I originally was going to give the hotel 3 stars but my husband and I agreed that was far too generous. We regularly seek out Holiday Inns when we travel because of previous great experiences, this trip may have changed that. The hotel rooms are in need of an upgrade; the bathrooms are teeny tiny, outdated, and rather gross looking; and the parking garage is a bit of a joke. The staff were all friendly, the location is nice for the shops at the plaza, and we used the courtesy shuttle often. One of our drivers, Blake, was particularly awesome! Super thankful for the people we traveled because we have fun no matter where we are - and the hotel will make for some future funny stories.

Positive:the room was clean and their shuttle service is great. Negative: checking in took at least 30 minutes when only one person was in front of us . The desk ladies argued and one was very noisy towards the other. The bossy lady complained about the staff calling her on the radio. They gave us a single drink coupon for our wait when there was two of us waiting. One staff member was talking about how he went to nearly all the local jails, "it wasn't for anything big, fighting, protecting my mama ". The parking garage was closed so you had enough room to park a Volkswagen beetle maybe. The elevator made terrible scary noises. And finally, I'm awake typing this because I can't sleep due to the water dripping from the ceiling in my room. At least I'm on the top floor so it probably isn't a toilet.

Don’t split a payment. A friend and myself asked the desk to split our payment. They messed up the first time, so we asked if it would be easier if we put it on one card. But they insisted they had fixed it after some adjusting. Well, the next day we had no charges on either account so to makes things easier we asked them to put it all on my friends card and I would pay her back in cash. They said they did. Here I am 3 days later, and all of the charges are on my account AFTER I took out cash as well. So now I’m broke and they can’t do anything as of now unless I find my receipt with my confirmation number on it. DONT SPLIT PAYMENTS, they don’t know how to.

No coffee prepared at 6am for guests. No communication between desk and Van driver, was stranded for hour in 40 degree weather waiting to get picked up. Window did not seal and had cold draft whole 3 night stay. 13.99 breakfast charge. For $140 a night one woukd thunk a continental breakfast would if veen provided. Only thing that wasn't tired looking was the lobby. Rooms need a little face lift!
