Avis Car Rental

The new management at this location is ridiculously hard to deal with. We've been using this particular Avis for almost 6 years. Been through three changes of ownership/management. All of the previous encounters we've had (minus our last two) were amazing. However after these I think we are done. We took a family vacation with myself, husband, 17 year old cousin, 11 year old daughter and 7 month old. I reserved an SUV almost 2 months in advance. However when we arrived to pick up our vehicle all they had available were cars and a Dodge Ram, he offered me the Ram, but I told him that the back seat would be too small for her car seat. Instead of understanding, he proceeded to argue with me about how the back seat will fit my car seat. He told me they had multiple cars and let me choose which one. I asked if there was anything we could do on the price, since I was no longer getting the SUV. Again, instead of being sympathetic, he said "well if you booked this same car today, it would be the same prices as the SUV." Yes, I could have went somewhere else and tried to get an SUV but with it being spring break nothing else comparable was really available anywhere else.

Best car rental ever, So accommodating. we rented a car a few days into spring break, they got us a compact SUV, for great rates with unlimited miles for a great price. everyone else wanted 400 more dollars for the exact same car. No price gouging at Avis. They were busy but the sales man was so nice and concerned with our wait that it was refreshing, he really cared that we had to wait a few more minutes for a car, we didn't mind he was great, will always use avis..Thank You.

Nice guy that runs up front. Decent prices, nice cars. The gentleman here made this so painless and simple. Will definitely start using Avis more for rental cars.

I would assume when you open at 7 am, that maybe someone is there at 7. No one showed until 7:30 and when I called customer service, they were completely unapologetic and instead just told me that since my reservation was under my company name, I would probably have problems with it anyway. Zero customer Service. Zero care for actually running a business. Will absolutely never use again.
