I had a good experience with this location. Ashley was nice to me. When I went out to inspect the car I told her it was dirty. She took it around back and cleaned it up for me. I really appreciated it. She was awesome!

My experience here was horrible!I never leave reviews but this was a must. I had the most worst experience I ever had in customer service. I was treated like trash, talked to like trash and was denied a vehicle for no good logical reason after spending hours In the store. After I asked to speak to a manager politely to understand how my electric bill was considered not a good form to verify my address when it wasn't delinquent late or anything but an employee by the name of Ashley decided to critique my bill by subtracting this and that which made no sense. My bill did not say late past due, or anything but this worker that was wearing the same shirt for two days in a row, decided to say it was. When I proceeded to speak with a manager she called someone at another store and explained her story to them which still did not help because I wanted a second set of eyes to look at my bill and tell me themselves that it was late, but instead the worker at Metcalf by the name of Lauren decided to just agree and didn't even consider maybe she was wrong. These people hung up in my face when I called to get corporate number. They talked to me with disrespect never gave me the number even the office manager by the name of missy was extremely rude and never once listened to see why I was calling which was to report her workers but instead reminded me that I can't rent from there anymore which makes no sense. I can't rent from there because I was treated poorly and asked for customer service number that they didn't give me and now I can't rent from there. However that was beside the point because we went and got a rental from HERTZ the same day and hour. It was just crazy what I went through and spent two hours in that store dealing with and idiot, but if I could rent from them again. I never would I don't care if it was the only way on earth to get wheels I would never rent from them clowns again. I hope they shut down because they were beyond unprofessional!!!! And idiots especially the office manager Missy o had to call someone with a higher position then her just to report Lauren at Metcalf and Ashley at south Kansas city bad service and behavior. Poor poor service. Never again. And they don't even clean there cars. Lazy business and service.

All rentals online are just not tracking their fleet of cars, sorry to it is just not Budget.
So you order on-line you go in the store an no cars, so Budget offers you pick up trucks.
I like that fact they let people with debt cards ($500 hold on your debit card, based on car available).
Besides the manager doing ok at his job the other guy is confused.
But if you get a car it's decently clean an reasonable.

Do not rent from this or any other Budget location, everything you're reading is true. My experience was similar, showed up on-time to pickup my rental, the guy was locking the door as I was walking up (middle of the afternoon, had I been a minute later, who knows). I had an SUV reservation but they didn't have any SUVs, tried to tell me that a full size Dodge Ram truck "was the same class" and therefore the same vehicle. Which, if you've ever compared a truck and a SUV, they're quite different in many ways, kind of like an apple and a banana. I had almost the exact same experience with the Budget at 119th & Metcalf. I've learned my lesson.
I'm pretty sure Seinfeld said it best, "you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation."
