Budget Car Rental

Sad to say that I was extremely displeased with this location. The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the gentleman who picked me up from the airport. He was pleasant and helpful. He was extremely humble and joyful to help me. Once I got to the location it went down hill. The lady didn't even know what my reward day coupons were. She entered them as 1 instead of two completely messed up my rental contract. I even wrote a note on the contract that's how annoyed I was! She said she would fix it when I return, but I very matter of factly told her my flight was at 6a.m....needles to say this was just not a good experience. Not to mention the car she rented me was damaged in several places.

Worse customer service in America I made a reservation online after calling all morning to confirm if they have any cars available no answer at location from 8-10am 2 hours... I ended up making a reservation online and it booked me at that location. I showed up and waited 20 min in the front office. Then shows up a woman with the worst attitude and disrespectful. I understand you have no cars but loss the attitude lady. I’ve explained to her I been calling all morning and there was no answer she tells me your problem call corporate and tell them to hire more people. So discussed by her attitude and rudeness. Don’t ever rent here.

Do I have to give them a star at all? Worst customer service I have ever had at a car rental operation. I travel a great deal, and it took a lot for me to have to spend the time to write this bad review, but these guys earned it. Go with anyone else....anyone.

I had read in advance the terrible reviews from others on this site, but thought that was not the norm. I was wrong! I reserved a car in advance, arrived on time at the airport in McAllen, called their number, and was placed on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up and called again, but was placed on hold again. Tried a third time and was hung up on immediately. Finally I called a fourth time and got a person . With hope in heart, I was was told "We have no cars available today" . Seriously, this operation simply SUCKS !!! Do yourself a favor and rent form others. Better yet, call an Uber as they show.

Is there anything less than 1 star? Absolutely the worst experience possible with this outfit. Same as many others as they did not have ANY cars available to meet my RESERVATION !!! They did not offer any assistance , service, or concern. Budget Car Rental corporate management really needs to deal with this bunch.
