Enterprise Rent-A-Car

They are an awful rental company and have no concept of the idea of a "reservation." My first attempt to rent a car from this location was stopped because they only accept credit cards to make reservations despite the enterprise company policy that allows for debit cards and so even though I had made my reservation via the phone and confirmed my payment method, they were unwilling to rent to me. I have never had this be an issue at any other enterprise car rentals in the past. The second attempt to rent a car, with a credit card available also did not happen. This location does not understand what "making a reservation" means and did not have any vehicles available for rent at the time I had requested and were not expecting any of their vehicles back until the evening. They also did not bother to inform me that they would not have a vehicle ready for me until I arrived at the location, wasting another hour of time time. I have never had these kinds of issues at other enterprises and I would never recommend this location. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have.

When I returned my rental (on time )there was a sign on the door stating they were out and please drop keys in key drop. When I got my final bill they had added several hours for being late. I called several times with no answer. Finally someone answered and immediately hung up. I had noticed the manager doing this at the time I was picking up the car to other customers. I called customer service and complained. They called and the same thing happened. They told me the manager would call. He did said he would correct it. Several weeks went by , not corrected. Call customer service twice more. Ask that the regional manager contact me. So far he has not. Up date 5 Feb 2018 Regional Manager never called. but I did get my refund on 2 Feb "only" took 2 months. Update 9 Feb 2018 Regional Manager called

When I rented the car I was told the hold would be released upon the return of the car. This is what the manager told me. 4 days later after I return the car on time. My Money is Yet To be released. I called to check why my money haddent been returned. I asked for help and instead of assisting me with there department I had to call, then my bank. Customer service I think Not

It's time for Bay City to add another car rental place. This is the second time I have tried to rent a vehicle and their not be any available. I never had this issue in Shreveport. We need a HERTZ!
