The actual service provided is terrible... the only reason I have their service is because I cannot get anything else. They offer 50meg service and i was told going to have 100, I can't wait, so far so good, i have had Charter and these guys seem to be just as good,all cable company's same! bill 30 days in advanced,bill goes up every couple years,overall has been a good experience with office and service people

In my area of residence my internet options are limited to Cable America or Dish. They both offer similar speeds and prices but the latter requires a two year contract while Cable America leaves you free to go month to month, which is useful for a college student trying to find the ideal lease. The price to speed ratio pales in comparison to a AAA ISP like Comcast but you have to take what is available in your region. I can't say that the internet is without issues. There are temporary outages and slowdowns maybe once every few months but in worst-case scenarios there can be issues a few days out of the week (this is extremely rare, twice in a year). Still, Cable America is always on top of dealing with the problem. They usually have an automated message when you call informing customers of outages in whichever area is afflicted. Their technicians are quick and at worst I've gone maybe two hours without internet--it is typically up and running within half that time. At the time of writing I haven't suffered any outages in two months. The customer service is where Cable America really shines. There is always a friendly person on the other end of the phone and at the worst they might sound stressed out in times of heavy outages. While the wait times can be lengthy in the event of widespread issues they are always prompt with determining the problem (and if you're calling about issues and you're caller #25 you can probably just hang up because they already know and will fix it up in a jiffy). Most importantly, they are always willing to work with you in times of economic or social hardship and are very fair in their extensions. You can tell that they care and want to help out where they can. I am only using Cable America for the internet. It is used constantly for streaming movies/shows and online gaming. I get download speeds of about 3MB/s for $65 and usually don't have issues with buffering or stream quality. I can't write about the merits of their cable package or the reliability of their phones, provided companies even install home phones anymore. All I do know is that in an area where the options are limited and the prices are a bit steep Cable America is the easy choice.

You are better off getting aids then having to deal with this company. Absolutely the most uncoordinated goat rope I have ever dealt with. Ever person you talk to has a different answer. Internet is very unstable pay for 20mbps and get 8 average. Should have looked at the reviews before setting up service only 1 5 star review and it was probably fake.

Believe everything you read here... There is not a worse company around. They are rude and apparently don't care about customer service at all.... not too mention the equipment is from the eighties or from before.. Seriously.. The remotes look like children's toys. This has to be a tax write off for somebody because it's managed so poorly... WOW.. Unbelievable!
