Despite their negative reviews, they do manage a good percentage of the homes in the area so I decided to apply for one of their townhomes. My application and fee were acknowledged the next morning, then 2 days passed by and I got a notification through Zillow that the exact home I had already applied for had raised the rent, a total disregard to my application and fee. I immediately contacted the agent Mina, where I asked for a full refund of the application fee due to the conditions changing and now false advertisement. She apologized and did refund me the fee, however I will now remember their company for the infamous "bait and switch", and representing unethical practices. I was already on a limited time search for a new assignment on Fort Belvoir Base, and they just held me up and put me in a bind.

Choice Property has managed our properties for over 2 years. Shawn and his team have done an excellent job. We recently had Erin Dorland took care of the contract extension of one of our properties. She worked diligently with our tenant and successfully negotiated for another year of extension. She is a very organized person and communicates well which is very important for us since we live overseas. Every email is responded and every issue (repairs, insurance renewal, etc) is followed through. It has been an excellent working experience. Like many home owners, our properties are our largest investment, thus we want to work with people that we trust. Shwan and his team have earned our trust. They have pleasant attitude that’s easy for us to work with, a big plus point since we see this as a long term working relationship. We are very pleased and highly recommend Choice Property Management without any reservations.

I've worked through Choice for 5 years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. They have always communicated well with me, used repairmen who did a good job at a fair price, and worked hard to help me avoid vacancies. Their fees were lower than other property management companies I researched as well.

Horrible and unethical company. If you are a home owner, hire them and they will trick your tenant to pay to improve your old property. If you are a tenant, BEWARE. Be careful to read every single word in their lease and report every single cosmetic issue within 5 days.

I wanted to take the time to highlight a particular employee at Choice Property Management. We are renters and have needed a few minor repairs throughout this past year. Every time I have contacted Ms. Dorland she as been exceptionally professional, helpful, and responsive to our needs. We really appreciate her continued support and assistance. Happy New Year !
