Crown Point Apartments

My fiance and I recently moved to CPA a month ago and we love it so far!!. We decided to finally leave NYC to somewhere different & we're very pleased on choosing CT & CPA. First off, the staff are very professional, sweet and responds to everything within a timely matter. The buildings & apartments are clean, on point, modern like & spacious. The neighbors are extremely nice & don't bother (which is a plus for us), lots of quietness at night, community activities, close to stores, the mall & nice restaurants. But most importantly, they are pet friendly which is major for us being that we have a fur baby. Outside, everyone cleans up after their pets (Super brownie pts!!) which is something you don't see everyday especially coming from NY!!! We're still exploring & learning the area but would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a fresh new start away from the craziness of the city or just from the norm in general.

TERRIBLE experience!!!! I have been living here for 4 years and this is certainly my last!! The upper clubhouse and pool are barley maintained or cleaned. Non-residents are always here for their weekend picnic at the (upper pool) Few robberies were reported so be very careful if you do live here. Management will try everything to take your money. Don't be fooled by their sales technicians. And finally a message to the management DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME RESPONDING TO MY REVIEW instead go fix the issues that everyone is complaining about!!

Living here has been a nightmare. I ordered a package and they literally said it was a courtesy for them to lose it. I now reported it to the Connecticut State Department of Consumer Protection. The manager for the Postal Service had already made several reports and said this has been the third report in this month alone. Everything has gotten worse. The turnover rate for management is ridiculous. Everyone there is rude. Not one person there has talked to me like I'm an actual person. There is no such thing as customer service or safety. Forget the fact that the facility holds units that are nothing but cheap carpets covering concrete floors with flakey white paint that chips from foundation issues or how it takes over a month to get maintenance to fix the AC unit. Or the decaying unsafe gym equipment that they say are a great addition. It took them over six months to fix the front door that was Broken open. That security risk is massive. It's entirely unsafe and unprofessional. It took them two hours to open the pool this morning! AND all the security lights in the hallway are out. The elevator hasn't been checked since last june and stops whenever it wants to. And I thought this was a good option for my family given its location. Not worth it. Live anywhere else.

I would strongly recommend this place. I lived here almost 2 years and I absolutely loved it. I moved out do to my Husband having to relocate because of military obligations and it really saddened me to have to go. The pool is awesome in the summertime. My kids and Grandkids would be in there almost every day and the neighbors where all great. Maintenance always came quick for any repairs needed i never had a problem. I really miss this place. If I ever decide to rent again I would definitely go back to Crown Point. I Thank Kim for giving us the opportunity to live there and renting to us. She is Great! If you ever looking for a place Crown Point is definitely the place to look into.

I AM UNHAPPY! I have lived here for about three years now and my experience living here is getting worse. I feel its UNFAIR and RUDE to take away lower pool privileges from the upper apartment residents. There is only one hot tub available for use and is located at the lower pool. Its crazy to me how they can say upper apartment residents are not allowed to use the lower pool, but lower apartment residents don't pay anything extra for the hot tub. The upper pool is barely maintained and is often found unclean. The lower pool is always clean for future residents to witness. I also feel forcing residents to take their stuff out of the garage is wrong. Its a garage... last time I checked people are allowed to utilize the space in front of their cars. Not many residents want to pay extra money for a storage unit. Residents here pay enough! In the upper clubhouse, the coffee machines are never fully stocked. The fob does not work for everyone to have access to the pool. The grills are never clean. People who don't live here are always at the pool. I am extremely unhappy!
