Car was filthy. Low air in tires had to monitor air in tires for 5 days. Tried calling representative for information
Torn interior. The car had a wobble that would shake you out of your seat There were hotel room cards and bottle caps in the car from previous user. Immediately after using my credit card tonreserve the car, it was hit with a 5k charge and I was alerted before 3 minutes out of the parking lot. Only time I’ve used that card in months. Trying to return the car was a night mare. Could not find a parking place within a block. Ended up parking on an garage access ramp
The upside was that it was 40 dollars cheaper.
Will never ever go back to that location again

The experience overall was good. There was not a whole lot of interaction but, all of the interaction was positive interaction. They were very precise when inspecting the car before driving it home, that way I wouldn't be charged for any prior damage. After we drove the car home we noticed a smell of cigarette smoke. We were able to return the car and exchange it for a different rental, which smelled less like smoke. They were very nice about the whole situation. Overall I would recomend this place.

This isn’t just for the Sunshine St. location. My husband picked up a car at this location and everything was fine. 2 hours on the highway later and the ABS and traction control lights come on and warning messages come on. We pull over in St. James, MO. Here’s the events that happened:
Call the W. Sunshine location, they transfer us to roadside assistance. Roadside assistance hears the issue, then transfers us back to the W. Sunshine location. During the transfer we get disconnected, but not before we could take a quick survey about our experience.
This is now 15 mins after stopping. We call the Sunshine location again, again we are transferred to roadside assistantce. We get a person on the phone saying they will see if any branches have cars. Lots of excuses and reasons such as “that’s not our policy” or “that branch is closing soon”. I thought they were the company who picked you up? Anyway, after another 45 minutes of waiting we find out our only options (because this rental car company didn’t have any rental cars) are either to wait 3-5 hours for a tow truck by the side of the highway, or drive the car with brakes that may or may not work another hour and a half to the St. Louis airport location. We are already almost an hour late at this point, so we decide to drive to the airport. We are assured the airport will get us all squared away and will have a car. We also are told our paperwork will be forwarded on to the airport location and we will be in and out in no time. We are also told to tell the agent at the desk our issues and we should get a credit.
Well we get to the airport, our paperwork is not there and the desk agent says we (again) have to call roadside assistance. Why the agent at the desk couldn’t do that on our behalf was not clear.
Another 20-25 minutes later we have all we need and I ask for a credit since we are now over 2.5 hours late and we had filled up the tank on the car we just drove for 2 hours with malfunctioning brakes and picked it up with only a quarter tank. He says he can’t do anything for us, only the W. Sunshine location can do that for us. I will be calling them on Monday.
Bad customer service experience overall and I won’t use this brand again.

Even though the truck was brand new, it was not checked or cleaned before it was rented out. The truck overheated and broke down on the highway because it had no coolant. We had to wait for a tow truck that would drive us to St.Louis. I lost 6hours of my day. We received another vehicle that was dirty. The last renter left his Capital One credit card and other documents....... Safety First! I was going 70mph when the truck overheated and shut down. I was happy my kids weren't in the car, stuck on the side of the highway for several hours, as well. If this truck had the proper fluids, it would have saved me two extra days!! The staff was friendly and the check out was hassle free!!

We rented from the wrong location. What would have been standard equipment on the south side location was not at this location. After renting for years from Enterprise I've never had them call me while on a trip. I should have known they knew something was off with the vehicle. The key fob read low battery which they assured me was not a problem although I was in the most remote locations. Also, two of the three charging elements didn't work. After purchasing new cords and new adapters we realized it was the car. While traveling through a canyon, stuck in a traffic jam the vehicle acted as if it was cutting out and it didn't have the gas saving feature installed. I should have called in. I didn't want to pay extra for their lack of service to the vehicle. Fortunately, we were not stranded. We were not compensated for the issues. We were just given a double upgrade which we all know is based on availability so it means nothing. My advice call in for the slightest issue next time.
