Employee stated I needed credit card to rent car. When I explained I would be using a debit card, he reiterated that I would need a credit card. Once I pressed him, he changed his tone and explained a debit card *could* be used with two forms of ID.
After obtaining said forms of ID, he changed the plan again and wanted 3 personal references (Enterprise's site itself states personal references are only used on cash transactions and only 2 references are used.)
It was clear that he was A) going to keep changing the story about what the policies were B) not going to be helpful and C) was quickly crossing into the vindictive territory by inventing new policies. I figured I had a 50/50 chance of having him key the car when I returned it. Did not seem like a consistent, helpful person.
No name tags were worn and I was refused a business card. Person behind the desk stated name as JB Phillips, but was likely not real name.
I left without renting a car. I would also think twice about ever working with Bill Roberts Chevy if this is their SOP.

The company I work for uses enterprise for business travel. Every time I have rented a car, John is there to help me! He always has the best attitude and great service! I even made a mistake when renting my car today and John was available to help whenever I needed- he even went out of his way to try to help me OUTSIDE of his work hours.
Thank you for always making my day less stressful, John. I look forward to renting again! Cars are nice, notified me of gas gauge level, let me know all the possibilities of returning the car, and helped me know what to do when I had finished returning it! Such a great experience!

Why is it an act of congress to rent a car???
We tried about everything to rent a car for our vacation from this location. He was rude, he was short, and treated us like we were stupid. Not a good place to deal with.

I only gave a 3 cause I thought I should have been told there was only 1/2 tank of gas, if I had not looked I would have returned it full like everyone knows to. I think I should have been told. Also I found that the tires were low and had to fill them up after i got to my destination 11hrs later. The tires became very loud and the car did not drive as well as it had. I was very pleased with the assistance I received 3 states away from another enterprise office. The guy was very nice and topped off the tire pressure. The car drove much better and the tires that were very loud once again sounded normal.
