Motel 6 Overland Park KS

Location was easy to reach. Hotel room was clean except for a few foreign hairs in the shower. Check-in Service was excellent. Check-out service was not as friendly. Not pleased that the maid service was pounding loudly on the door at 10 a.m. when check-out was at 11. Would have liked to have a few more towels, an extra blanket, and a blow dryer. A simple continental breakfast would also have been nice. The bed was clean and somewhat comfortable but not supportive. There was a huge hole in one side of the bathroom door. The room decor was updated and minimalistic. For a nice, no frills overnight stay, this is your place.

Rm 150, it reeked of stale smoke..three tiny pillows for a king bed is ridiculous..bed was very uncomfortable (hard)..remote control missing back..air conditioning unit extremely loud (glad it was a cool night so I could turn it to fan)..the tub was really rusty around around the drain and corners of shower wall was not clean (did not use it)..toilet was crooked and toilet seat was loose..unable to flush toilet, had to lift tank lid and reach in (yuck)..water pressure for that type of sink is too strong, water splashes everywhere when turned on..some of the towels were stained..floor could have used a good scrubbing. On the plus side...Great location, close to shopping and eateries..the tv had a good picture and visually the room remodel was nice. The afternoon clerk (5/17) was very friendly, the morning clerk (5/18)..not so much. I told him at checkout about the remote and toilet...

This place is disgusting my sheets are completely stain and smell terrible. The wall and bathroom have what look to be holes where someone punched them. My toilet won’t flush very well at all. the sitting area is falling apart and unstable, I'm glad I'm only here for a night. I may have to run to Walmart to get my own sheets. Please avoid this place.

Awful. 'Clean' towels+sheets smelled like cigarettes and the same w/ no smoking room. Door handle held together with tape. KEPT FALLING OFF. Room not clean. 0/0 stars if I could. Asked if dog friendly. Got a yes. Ran us off their property when taking dogs to go potty Let others go in the spot they ran us off from. gum under table. Do not go here!

Room had some holes in walls and one in the door. Shower didnt work. No fridge or microwave. And room could have been cleaned properly.
