Sears Appliance Repair

This was just an annual maintenance appointment on the 5 year warranty I purchased with my refrigerator and it was super easy. The serviceman that came out was on time, friendly, efficient and was done in a matter of 10 minutes.

Apparently earlier technicians that had worked on our gas range were not as knowledgeable as the one who just finished up with our burner problems. My wife is very happy with the results of the most recent changes. The burners are now working as they should, and the new igniters are doing their job quickly. We're waiting on a couple of minor parts to arrive, that I can install myself in 30 seconds, and we're hoping to not see another serviceman for a while.

Rodger Crockett, On time, Did something that the last 4 service calls could not fix . Mr. Crocket repair our washer so it is not leaking anymore . Thank You Mr. Crocket Sears you better have him do all washer and dryer repairs !!

My appointment was scheduled for Monday 11/20 from 8-5. I received a confirmation phone call and email on Sunday as a reminder. I received another reminder email that morning. Prior to 8:00. I called the 800 number to see if I could be told a narrower window of time the tech would come out. Customer service indicated that someone would call me within the hour with that information since the service was sourced to a third party.. I was never contacted and did check my email around noon. Boy was I surprised to learn my appointment had been rescheduled to the followings day. At minimum,, a phone call back to inform me of the change should have been made. When I called customer service they said the technician was not scheduled for my area until Tuesday. Amazing to me that when scheduled originally or when Sears followed up that they were not aware of their contractors schedule. The tech did come out on Tuesday and diagnosed the problem he was great. Dealing with Sears customer service not so great.

Excellent, knowledgeable service rep. Called 30 minutes before arriving as expected. Sears service is always reliable. Have purchased all my major appliances from Sears since the 1970's and always pleased with product and service.
