Spectrum

Their rates are ridiculously high, and I’m not a fan as far as Spectrum as a company goes, but the customer service I received at this branch when I dropped off my equipment this morning was wonderful. The workers were so joyful and kind, and the way they interacted with a ‘regular’ in there was refreshing. They asked about his family, etc. and treated him like a friend. They were so kind with me too—I definitely wasn’t expecting it!

Promo to get me started. Excellent TV and Internet but was forced to bundle phone which we did not use. After promo period the cost went up significantly. Tried to negotiate something but after four calls gave up and dropped all service to go with another provider. Companies that offer new customers a deal, then raise the price on a planned schedule only get three stars from me even when the service is excellent. They hope you will not notice or care about what is coming ahead. One plus for Spectrum is that there is no contract to worry about when you leave them.

I don't recommend them to anyone. I've had slow Internet for a year and a half. They tell me nothings wrong. Finally they send a technician to my. He found that the box outside was way out of date. He replaced it and now my Internet flys. Spoke with customer service for 1 hour and 20 minutes for them to offer me a whopping $25 credit. They are crooks. Definitely switching providers.

Raise my rates... raise my rates... raise my rates... that's all these people do. Then when one says something to customer service, you get "you'll just have to accept it." No, I don't. This company is going to find that they've priced themselves out of the market, but they'll not care. Because for anyone still with them, they'll just raise their rates. It used to be a good cable system at reasonable rates under Insight... then Time Warner screwed around with it and sold out to Spectrum, which has the snarkiest customer service in the world. Sorry... but I'm looking for alternatives. I believe that some of the positive reviews reflected here on Google are from people with financial or other interest in the promotion of Spectrum and are not legitimate. Please beware.

Cable Bill's jumps over $30.00 this month. There's nothing they will do about it after talking to them for over 30 minutes. Going to Cincinnati Bell to switch over complete phone, internet and cable. Very disappointed a loyal customer gets no credit with Spectrum.
