AC Hotel by Marriott National Harbor Washington, DC Area

This hotel is in a great location at the harbour. Near the water and a lot of restaurants. There is a bar that offers happy hour specials every day. There is also nice outdoor seating for guests. Rooms are a little small but come with good amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. My issue was that you can hear every single thing that happens in the hallways and the A/C turns off when you leave the room and is motion activated to turn back on, meaning the room is hot every time you go in.

Modern, upscale hotel. Rooms are small. Top floors give great views of the Harbor, Alexandria VA and Washington DC. Small glass front mini fridge that only chills items. Conveniently located in the heart of the Harbor. Walk to a multitude of dining and shopping venues. Valet parking for $40/night with in/out option. Self parking is in the Mariner garage which is 1 short block and costs $20/night. Modern bar and breakfast area in the lobby. Use room key for access to guest floors. No pool. No balconies.

Reserved 3 rooms to celebrate my 21st birthday with family. Room was small but nice. Location was superb, close to MGM and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. But then they charged me $59 for 1 car valet which was supposed to be $40 only. Spoke to the supervisor, she said it was a computer glitch and will refund. 10 days later, I checked my credit card statement and found out they charged me $59 3 times and $40 once. Called and again they told me they'll fix it and refund. I hope they get it right this time. My advise..make sure you check out at the front desk, ask and check your receipt.

Great room, great location, and great service! My check in and check out experience was very pleasant and easy thanks to Amanda!! Would highly recommend. I usually stay at the Gaylord when I go to harbor but this experience made me want to switch!!

We drove up and no one greeted us. we had to get out of the car to ask the valet what the situation was with parking. The front desk seemed to not be aware that we were staying for just one night. You seem not to recognize my status as a platinum member and my guaranteed late check-out. Overall the room was passable but not remarkable. The front desk did find a way to upgrade us to a sweet and that was quite nice with a beautiful view of the water definitely a highlight.
