Al Serra Buick GMC

Dropped car off on Friday night for Saturday look at. Oil change and engine light diagnostic. Received no phone call/update Sat. When I called Saturday was told that the maintenance was done but the diagnostic was not. Informed it may not get looked at until Monday. Luckily I was able to leave the car but would have appreciated knowing this possibility when I dropped it off. No call still by 3 pm Monday, so I call again. Not looked at, should be Tuesday. Service called at 3:00 Tuesday to tell me results of engine diagnostics. Let service adviser know I would be there between 5 and 5:30 to pick up the vehicle. Arrive around 5:15 to pick up vehicle and they are not sure the oil change was done, lack of paperwork, so they need 20 minutes to do the oil change that I was told was done 3 days ago. Reality was 40 minutes. I understand being busy. I am busy as well. Instead of leaving the impression work can be done sooner than it really can I would have preferred an appointment to address everything in one day rather than 4 days of wonder.

Great car buying experience--I went in with the plan to buy a late model used car because I drive a lot of miles, but Doug showed me so many options that leasing a new vehicle with extra miles made more sense. I had never considered a GMC before (I've owned several Chevy, Ford, Jeep and Volvo products, but never a GMC) and I am so thankful that he convinced me to take a look at it the Terrain.The vehicle I ended up with is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles I need. Plus, he found me a deep red with heated seats and a giant sunroof (all the things I wanted.) So far, I love the Terrain--the power with the larger engine is great and it's very comfortable to drive and be a passenger in.) I will definitely work with Doug again, He never pressured me, just offered multiple options on used and new cars (including the Essence, which is beautiful as well.)

Mr. Youngblood in the service dept is awesome to work with, he is extremely patient and helpful.. I'm a disabled veteran and had to reschedule many times due to my physical issues. I really appreciate him being there and prefer not to work with anyone else.. Sincerely..

My car salesman Ian Thomason is great. I have worked with him in the past to lease a car for my wife and we liked him so much that we came back to him and I purchased my Buick through him. We also are going to purchase my wife's lease through him as well.

You have to make an appointment which isn't bad but they don't stick to them. Had appointment for an 8:30am OIL CHANGE by 12:30pm it still wasn't done.
